When it comes to the world of television, only a number of actors can truly be referred to as stars. Among them is Kaley Cuoco, who most recently starred as Penny in the CBS hit sitcom, “The Big Bang Theory.” Aside from this, she is also known for her roles on shows such as “8 Simple Rules” and “Charmed.” In addition, she has also starred in a number of films. Meanwhile, Cuoco is set to star in the upcoming TV series, “The Flight Attendant.”

Cuoco has been busy with her career in recent years but this hasn’t stopped the actress from engaging in some candid interviews from time to time. Just to give you a better idea, here are 15 things that Cuoco has revealed lately:

15 She Thinks “The Big Bang Theory” Guys Would Love To See Penny Turn Into Harley Quinn

Cuoco has been voicing the character in the TV series, “Harley Quinn.” While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, she remarked, “That is pretty cool, right? What would the guys think? Penny turned into exactly who they wanted her to be.” She added, “Big Bang was an unforgettable 12 years, I’ll owe my entire career to that show and getting me out there. It’s set in my heart.”

14 She Said No To Doing A Boston Accent For Harley Quinn

Cuoco recalled, “They initially wanted me to do a strong Boston accent, but I told [co-showrunners] Justin [Halpern] and Patrick [Schumacker], ‘my voice is a little recognizable, and I think it’s gonna be silly if we pretend it’s anything other than Kaley playing this role.’ So it really just became mostly me screaming. It’s a lot of me, and I’ve kinda turned it into my own thing.”

13 She Believes Working On “The Flight Attendant” After “The Big Bang Theory” Is A ‘Smart’ Move

Cuoco told Entertainment Tonight, “I feel good because, I'm knee-deep in The Flight Attendant, which I think is smart. I didn't have time to think about it.” For Cuoco, “The Flight Attendant” is more than just a new show. In fact, it’s a passion project of hers, one where she stars and is an executive producer.

12 The Thought Of Leaving Her Animals While Shooting In New York Was Heartbreaking

Cuoco had to stay in New York to shoot scenes for “The Flight Attendant”. Early on, she revealed, “I've been crying already, knowing that I'm leaving them. I'm gonna be the one that needs the help! I'm gonna have to Facetime them every single night. She added, “My husband and I, we don't feel fulfilled unless we're surrounded by all the animals.”

11 She’s Kept In Touch With Her ‘Big Bang’ Co-Stars, Especially Ex-Boyfriend Johnny Galecki

While speaking with Us Weekly, Cuoco revealed, “We definitely have a group chat. It started up a little recently actually and [we] just kind of see what everyone's doing. Johnny has a baby now.” She added, “He's always wanted to have a baby so I think this was really exciting for him.”

10 For Her, DC’s Harley Quinn Is A Hero For All Women

Cuoco explained, “I think she actually represents more of the women out there than we think. Getting away from a bad relationship and having your friends around you to make you feel powerful and believe in yourself, that’s like feminism at its core. That’s what I love about her: She kicks ass, she loves her friends, she does bad things but for what she thinks are right reasons, she’s strong, she’s quirky, she’s fun (let’s not forget how fun she is), and absolutely adorable.”

9 She Enjoys Doing R-Rated Voice Work

While speaking with Yahoo Entertainment about “Harley Quinn,” Cuoco remarked, “I have loved the whole R-rating with Harley Quinn. I’ve loved the swearing. I’ve loved the screaming. I’ve loved the aggressiveness. It’s totally insane and totally inappropriate — that’s why I love it. She’s a badass.”

Just to make it clear though, this animated show is not appropriate for children.

8 She Admits That It Wasn’t Love At First Sight With Husband, Karl Cook

During an interview with Us Weekly, the actress revealed, “I don’t think it was love at first sight for us. We had met and it was like a weird meeting. It kind of happened later.” The two began dating back in 2016 and became engaged in November 2017. Cook and Cuoco tied the knot in June 2018.

7 She Enjoys Leading A Separate Life from Her Husband

Cuoco told Entertainment Tonight, “Even when Karl and I met, and I knew I was totally in love with him and we wanted to get married, we both really like our own lives and we actually like our own couches.” She later added, “But we've had separate locations and whether that's helped us mentally or not, I've obviously never been in a better relationship and I want this to last the rest of my life so, in a way, we're actually taking it slow.”

6 She Can Readily Start Thinking Like A Producer And Handle Criticism Of Her Own Work

Cuoco told PureWow, “I’m a very good compartmentalizer. But at first, the other producers were worried about me watching my own dailies and being able to judge it or let other people judge it in front of me. I look at it as that’s not even me and I can take the criticism. If someone says, ‘Oh I don’t love that take,’ I can say ‘I don’t love it either,’ it’s not me almost. You have to be able to kind of step back and put my little producer hat on and look at it that way.”
