Andy Cohen might be the king of guilty pleasures. He's the mastermind behind the entire Bravo slate of hits, and he seems like the best guy to throw a party.

But past the quick wit and fabulous grin, there are some things about Andy that people can't deny. The Real Housewives franchises are full of gossip, drama and more — they've ruined reputations and lives. And as fun as Watch What Happens Live is to watch, more than one celebrity has let something slip that they didn't mean to. While he seems to have a lot of friends, there are some enemies lurking out there as well.

While he's raking in the dough, Andy's life is full of shade — yet we still love him. Here are 18 things we need to stop ignoring about Andy Cohen.

20 He Doesn't Feel Guilty About Joe and Teresa

While Teresa Guidice has gained wealth and fame from her time with the Real Housewives of New Jersey, she's also gone to jail, and her husband Joe has been deported to Italy after serving time in prison. It's a terrible situation linked to the franchise, but Andy said on his podcast that he doesn't feel guilty about it.

“This is a voluntary process. Putting your life and putting yourself on reality television, the risks are obvious, they are well-known, especially if you have something to hide," he said, according to People.

19 His Perfume Idea Was Totally Gaga

Andy Cohen's out-there entrepreneurial spirit mixed with Lady Gaga's crazy lifestyle could have manifested itself in a million different ways. But Andy came up with the shadiest. When she relieved herself in a trash can, Andy had a production assistant save it and have it made into perfume that sits on the shelves of his set, according to She Knows.

18 The Stocked Bar At His Shows

Andy knows how to get people talking — he plies them with alcohol. A bar is at the center of the Watch What Happens Live set, and reports say that the alcohol flows at Real Housewives reunions too.

In a Washington Post article, Chrissy Teigen said she got "blackout drunk" at WWHL and her publicist banned her from going back. “That kind of comfortability can lead to saying some pretty crazy things you forget are on national TV!” Chrissy said in the article. “I’m definitely guilty of this!”

17 He Stirs Things Up

Recently, Tituss Burgess appeared on WWHL, and he was not happy with the way that Andy treated him. Tituss got upset when Andy asked about working with Eddie Murphy, bringing up Eddie's old stand-up routines that had offensive gay jokes. Tituss was not having it.

“She can be a messy queen!” Tituss wrote on social media afterward. “Don’t care he knows either! He should remember his talk show isn’t an episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta! It’s a place where artists come to talk about art and have a little fun NOT a place to rehash old rumors or bring a star negative press. Sunday was a display of ratchet behavior by a well-connected man having blatant disregard for one of his guests.”

16 He Stages Real Housewives Reunions

Those Real Housewives Reunions can go wild, and Andy is careful to set the stage for drama. According to E News, the filming takes place over 10 to 12 hours, and the ladies are kept apart earlier in the day to add to the tension. Add in the alcohol, and put the ladies most likely to go at it on either side of their host, and that can make for great television.

15 This Daddy Parties Hard

Andy parties hard — and he's not letting fatherhood stop the good time. According to E News his baby shower was full of drunken housewives, and he still goes out a lot since the birth of his son Benjamin. Andy said in Hollywood Life that he goes to work — and has his fun — after Ben goes to bed, and I guess that's all we expect of most parents.

14 The Confessions That Come Up

Many celebrities work hard to keep their secrets, but all it takes is a trip to talk to Andy at WWHL for them to start spilling. Matthew McConaughey admitted a date with Janet Jackson. The Washington Post article pointed out one confession that turned a lot more interesting months after it was uttered — Katie Couric admitted to Andy that Matt Lauer liked to give her backside a squeeze.

13 He's A Protege of Les Moonves

Speaking of people who have a reputation for workplace issues, Andy is also linked to another network bad guy, Les Moonves. He was brought up in the CBS Network, working his way from interning with Julie Chen, Les' wife, and moving up among the ranks, according to She Knows. We all know that Andy's unlikely to make a pass at women, but we're certain he learned some of the tricks of that gross trade.

12 He Makes The Real Housewives Cuts

Andy is a man with a lot of control over women — the Real Housewives women. The franchises all have some stars, but Andy is the ultimate decider of who will appear on the show. According to Cheat Sheet, the Housewives don't have multi-year contracts, so they discuss it after every season — and if they have gone too far and turn off viewers, they are out.

11 His Feud With Kathy Griffin

Andy has a lot of friends, but there are some people who think he's done them real dirty. Kathy Griffin has been feuding with him for years. It's not just that he took her slot on the New Year's Eve show with Anderson Cooper after she was fired for her comedy controversy. Kathy apparently holds a grudge about him cutting her shows at Bravo. And when he was asked about some of her comments, Andy actually said "I don't know her," according to Huffington Post.
