This A-List Movie Star Admitted Having A Crush On Gordon Ramsay

Easily one of the biggest reality TV stars of the last several years, starring in shows like Hell's Kitchen has made Gordon Ramsay very famous. The kind of fan that knows what goes on behind-the-scenes of Gordon's shows will likely realize that he has struggled financially and been heavily criticized in the past. Even though Gordon has been controversial enough to face several lawsuits, the often angry TV chef has also revealed his softer side in the past.

One of the reasons why Gordon has so many fans is the fact that he has shown his heart over the years. Even though many fans love that aspect of Gordon, most of them would be surprised that one A-list movie star was so attracted to Gordon that they admitted having a crush on him.

When people talk about the biggest reality show stars of all-time, there are certain names that understandably come up. For example, it makes perfect sense to argue that people like Kim Kardashian, Nicole "Snooki" LaValle, as well as the pair of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt belong in that conversation.

However, one person who should be considered to be one of the biggest reality show stars who rarely gets credit for that is Gordon Ramsay. The star of a seemingly endless list of reality shows over the years, Gordon has been a reality TV staple for many, many years.

As a result of Gordon's success as a reality show star, most people recognize that he has had an impact on the world. On the other hand, one thing that very few people know is that Gordon influenced Scarlett Johansson so much that she admitted having a crush on the reality TV chef.

On March 28th, 2017, the YouTube channel for "The Howard Stern Show" published a clip of the host interviewing Scarlett.

As can be seen in that clip, Howard asked Scarlett what kind of person attracted her. While laughing at herself and saying she was the wrong person to ask, Scarlett revealed she had a crush on Gordon.

I mean, honestly, I'm like somebody who likes, like, Gordon Ramsay. I'm like the last person [to ask].

As she made that admission, Scarlett seemed astonished she revealed her crush in public.

A 9 News article from March 2017 revealed that Scarlett went on to tell Howard during the same interview that she had a crush on another celebrity.

While talking to Howard about her love life in March 2017, Scarlett Johansson didn't just talk about which stars she had a crush on. As 9 News' article revealed, Scarlett also stated that she was being careful about dating anyone at the time because she had a young child. "I'm on guard because I have a young daughter."

While discussing who else she found attractive, Scarlett stated she also had a crush on Anthony Bourdain at the time. Scarlett went on to remark on the fact that the two men had a lot in common. "There's a running theme."

Looking back at the YouTube video from the channel dedicated to "The Howard Stern Show" reveals how the radio host reacted to Scarlett's admission.

There is a long history of celebrities confessing surprising things on "The Howard Stern Show." In May 2013, a YouTube video on Katie Couric's channel showed Howard telling the broadcast journalist why he thinks stars confess things on his radio show. "Now on satellite radio. I don't have to break for a commercial. I can sit there and talk with you, and we can kinda slip into this sort of hypnotic kind of experience. Where we really think we're alone.

Clearly surprised by who Scarlett had a crush on, Howard's reaction was pretty hilarious, even if it was inappropriate. Howard instantly remarked that he might have a chance with Scarlett if she was attracted to Gordon.

"Gordon Ramsay? You're attracted to? Oh, maybe I got a shot with you. Gordon Ramsay. Is that true? When you mean physically, that's the kind of guy you would wanna be with right now?"

Howard then offered to set Scarlett and Gordon up on a date. "I could set that up. You would go on a date."

When Scarlett told Howard that she had a crush on Gordon, that came at an interesting time in her life.

As a June 2023 InStyle article about Scarlett's second marriage showed, she'd only recently become single when she was talking to Howard.

According to InStyle's article, Scarlett and her second husband, Romain Dauriac, had broken up only weeks earlier, in January 2017. While that timing is interesting, Scarlett's situation when she was talking to Howard is even more fascinating.

Scarlett filed to divorce Romain the same month she told Howard she had a crush on Gordon.

How Gordon Ramsay Reacted To Scarlett Johansson Having A Crush On Him

As was stated earlier in this article, the YouTube channel for "The Howard Stern Show" uploaded the video of Scarlett Johansson talking about Gordon Ramsay on March 28th, 2017. Two days later on March 30th, 2017, the YouTube channel for The Nightly Show posted a video that featured Gordon reacting to Scarlett.

In The Nightly Show's video, Gordon can be seen interviewing the actor Scott Eastwood. During that discussion, Gordon brought up women having a crush on Scott. Then, Gordon asked Scott for Scarlett Johansson's phone number.

I don't suppose you've got Scarlett Johansson's number on you, have you?

While Gordon didn't mention Scarlett saying she had a crush on him, it seemed very clear that wasn't a coincidence. After all, Gordon asked for Scarlett's number only days after she admitted having a crush on him.

Gordon reacting to Scarlett by asking for her number was hilarious because he has been married to Tana Ramsay since 1996. On top of that, just before asking for Scarlett's number, Gordon stated that his wife was in the studio audience watching the interview. After asking for Scarlett's number, Gordon laughed and joked about how his wife would react.

That's my wife, by the way, [on] the right-hand side... I'm gonna be so much s*** now for asking that question.

The show then cut to Tana in the audience, followed by footage of Scott jokingly offering to give her his phone number.
