Nick Viall is a TV personality, best known for his run on several Bachelor shows. He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin and is the second oldest of 11 siblings. In 2017 and 2018, Viall also made several appearances on movies and TV shows, including A Christmas Cruise, ABC's Speechless, TV Land's Teachers, and some episodes of General Hospital. That said, Viall is still known for his career in all things relationships.

Everything about Nick Viall's time on The Bachelor is what made him the controversial heartthrob of Bachelor Nation. He first appeared as a contestant on the reality show in 2014, vying for the heart of Andi Dorfman. He received the first impression rose during that season, but he ended up finishing runner-up. He then showed up mid-season during Kaitlyn Bristowe's season in 2015, asking her to give him a chance. She added him to her group of guys, but he ultimately finished runner-up again.
Nick then went on Bachelor in Paradise in 2016, where he dated a few women, including Leah Block, Amanda Stanton, and Jen Saviano. Nick Viall's girlfriend, and now fiancé, is Natalie Joy. Natalie is a certified surgical technologist and model, often posting photos of both her in scrubs and from her shoots on Instagram. She is 18 years younger than Viall, who is 42.
5 When Did Nick And Natalie Meet?
Nick and Natalie actually met via social media in 2019, when Natalie slid into Nick's DMs. However, the two didn't begin dating until July 2020.
In an episode of Nick's podcast The Viall Files, he revealed how Natalie knew what she wanted from the get-go. He said, “We kind of kept hanging out, and she finally got to a point where she was like, ‘I want to date,’ and I was kind of like, ‘I don’t know. She just was like, ‘OK, this is what I want. It’s fine, no big deal, but I’m gonna go do my thing,’ and she did, and I was like, ‘What?!’ … She went and showed me exactly what I’d be missing.”

Nick Viall and Natalie Joy announced their engagement on January 12, 2023 with a joint post on Instagram. The photos show off Natalie's ring, and the caption reads, "For the rest of my life, it's you."
Several Bachelor stars commented on the post with their well-wishes for the couple, including Andrew Spencer, Serena Pitt, Brandon Jones, Vanessa Grimaldi, and more. Other notable names also sent their congrats, like Taylor Lautner, James Gunn, and Peta Murgatroyd, who was a part of Nick Viall's time on Dancing With The Stars.
3 What Went Into The Engagement?
The engagement itself seems to have been an intimate yet grand gesture. Right after the announcement, Gregg Grippo, another Bachelor Nation celeb, posted a 'behind the scenes' video of the engagement set up on his Instagram story, indicating that he and his girlfriend, Victoria Fuller, helped set it up. The set-up consisted of a multitude of lit candles throughout a large, open space room at Create Studios in Venice, California. Nick Viall also showed some of the details in an Instagram post following the initial announcement, saying, "A glimpse into the best night of our lives. Here's to the beginning of forever!"
In the video, Viall explained that Natalie believed that the two were going to a special screening of A Man Called Otto, starring Tom Hanks. What really happened though, was Natalie walked in to see a video of Viall sharing his feelings on the big screen, followed up by him walking in and proposing. The video led to lots of tears from both Natalie and Nick, and the night ended with a fun party with many of their friends.
2 Has An Engagement Been Teased Before?
While an engagement hasn't been mentioned specifically, it was teased after Nick went to Wells Adams' wedding. Wells Adams is another Bachelor star, and he got married to Sarah Hyland this past summer. Nick and Natalie attended the wedding, and after the event, Nick posted a photo of him and Natalie with the caption, "Something about weddings with you that just fits." Wells commented on the photo, saying, "You're next!"

1 What Is Next For The Couple?
Nick and Natalie have been living together already. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight following their two-year anniversary a few months ago, Nick spoke about the prospect of a proposal, saying "We've been together two years and we live together, so obviously those conversations happen and it's certainly exciting to think about a future with her. I think she feels the same about me, which is exciting. I'm just very, very grateful to have the relationship that I have with her."
According to a source from US Weekly, the couple is already talking about expanding their 'family of three' as a caption in Nick's Instagram post named the pair and their dog from a couple of months ago. The source said, “[They’re] both excited about being parents someday and equally excited about the possibility of it being with one another.” I guess we'll have to wait and see what comes next for the two!
