Kyle Richards' Journey On The Real Housewives And Her Career
Before the housewives, Richards had a career as a child actor. She began acting at the age of five years old, in the well known television series, Little House on the Prairie. She acted alongside her sister, Kim Richards, who later also appeared as a cast member on RHOBH. She also acted in the first Halloween movie alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. A role she revived in the newest Halloween movie, Halloween Kills. Her career expanded to the housewives in 2010 and that is when she really started to appear in the spotlight of reality television.
The RHOBH franchise became an instant success. Richards appeared alongside her sister, Lisa Vanderpump and Taylor Armstrong. These women also still appear on the Bravo network as well. Richards and her sister, Kim, had quite the drama on the show and Kim left the show after its fifth season. Richards was such a success and fan favorite on the show that she even was nominated for Favorite Reality Tv Star at the People's Choice Awards in 2019.

What Did Andy Cohen Have To Say About Kyle And Her Reaction
The twelfth season of RHOBH premiered this Spring and Richards is certainly bringing a lot of drama to the season. During an appearance on the show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he brought up a surgery that Richards hadn't made public. He asked her about her breast reduction surgery and how it was working out for her.
Richards immediately made it clear that she had not made it public. She said, "Oh, thank you for letting everyone know, Andy...thank you." Cohen was shocked that he accidentally revealed this "secret" on live television. It was clear that Cohen felt bad and thought Richards had talked publicly about it before, but she wasn't upset at all.
She stated that although she kept it private, she talked about how the surgery was just three weeks ago, and she will always be transparent about any cosmetic procedures she has done. Which is why she wasn't mad at Cohen for revealing it. Cohen still apologized multiple times to which Richards replied, "It's okay, Andy. I love you."
Even though it was a clear accident on Cohen's part, Richards had no problem being open about it afterward. So definitely, no hard feelings.
Kyle Richards' Legacy As A Housewife
Richards certainly holds a legacy as a housewife by being a constant cast member since its first season. And it seems like she won't be leaving the show anytime soon. Although in the past she has disclosed that she thought about leaving a few times. Before season twelve she revealed that she was unsure if she should come back. She said, "Well, eventually I’m going to have to walk away... I don’t know yet, we’ll see." Fans were happy when she ultimately decided to stay and return for the show's newest season.
The newest season features a lot of other long-time housewives including, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, and Dorit Kemsley. Richards seems to be friendly with all the women on the show. But recently a lot of drama has sparked and made fans talk. In the newest episode, Erika Jayne was seen cursing out cast mate, Garcelle Beauvais' fourteen-year-old son. Fans were extremely upset to see a scene later in the episode where Richards is laughing at what Jayne said. In the scene, Richards states, "It's not funny, but it is funny."
A lot of fans were mad and Garcelle was too. After receiving major backlash, Richards took to Instagram to clear up why she was seen laughing about the encounter. She stated that she was not laughing at what Jayne said but that it was funny that she was drunk. Even after her clarification, fans are still not happy with Richards. They'll have to wait and see how it unfolds during the rest of the season. And it will certainly be a huge topic at the reunion.
