He moved on to become a producer for 48 Hours, and later a producer for CBS This Morning before leaving CBS for Trio TV network back in 2000. After Bravo’s purchase of Trio, Cohen would eventually become vice president of original programming at the network (Bravo) in 2004. But it was the Bravo's reality show by the name of The Real Housewives that set Andy on his current road and placed him within the public’s consciousness. His portfolio also includes radio hosting and a slew of other entertainment-related positions he has acquired over the years.

Some of the most noteworthy are NeNe Leakes, who has thrown allegations of racism and “gaslighting” Cohen’s way, and Vicki Gunvalson, who not only claimed to be disrespected by the network but also during the first after show, spoke the infamous lines, "never forget where you came from,” to Cohen.

Of all the franchises revolving around the lives of the luxurious and boisterous housewives, Andy calls Orange County his favorite. After all, the Orange County franchise is what started it all, debuting back all the way to 2006. The franchise that started it all is also responsible for making Cohen a household name.
He mentioned in an interview with The Daily Dish.com what favorite moment within his favorite franchise was, saying: “Whenever people ask me my favorite housewives moment, I don’t know why, but I always go back to Vicki and that little family van.”
