According to the outlet, the two had become “difficult and controlling stage parents” and had alienated a chunk of Taylor’s team in a bid to assume total control over her career.
“Taylor’s parents are incredibly difficult to deal with. Their expectations are enormous, and they are very hard to please,” an insider explained to the outlet. "They want to pay as little as possible and treat people like s**t, because they think those people are lucky to have the chance to work with a superstar like Taylor.”
The report also appeared to lend credibility to rumors that Scott and Andrea were no longer on amicable terms, with an insider claiming that the two had developed such a strained dynamic, they were no longer living together and couldn't even bear to be in the same room.

Curiously, the report came nearly three years after Taylor Swift purchased a $1.4 million estate in Nashville for the twosome, where she was reportedly visiting them from time to time. “It’s an incredible house,” a source close to the singer-songwriter told US Weekly of the purchase. “Taylor’s been visiting her parents there and she’s so excited for them.”

"Andrea being on tour with Taylor full-time has really been hard on her relationship with Scott," an inside source shared with the outlet.
