Howard Stern is Bachelor Nation and proud of it. While the incredibly rich radio personality has made his living by both being the edgiest in the business and becoming the greatest celebrity interviewer, he is also not above reality TV. But The Bachelor and all of the spin-off shows are by far and away his favorite. He and his wife Beth are avid viewers and fans of his SiriusXM radio show know that he never shies away from weighing in on the latest series controversies. This includes the dire financial situation of Joey Graziadei.

In a lengthy bit about Joey's financial problems, Howard Stern slammed ABC and The Bachelor contestants for being lulled into a false sense of reality. In this article, we will tackle Joey's money problems and then reveal Howard Stern's brutal comments.

News of Joey Graziadei's financial problems has shocked some Bachelor viewers due to the wealth he exuded on the show. This is precisely what radio legend Howard Stern criticized on his June 17th, 2024 show. Prior to Stern's broadcast, Cosmo, Screen Rant, and various other publications revealed that Joey has been struggling since getting engaged to Kelsey Anderson on the 28th season of The Bachelor. While the scandal may pale in comparison to Clayton Echard's paternity lawsuit it is still pretty eye-opening.

Life & Style claims Joey Graziadei's net worth is around $250,000. But given his revelations, this may be an inflated number.

What Does Joey Graziadei Do For A Living?

On The Trading Secrets podcast, Joey admitted that he currently doesn't know what he'll do for a living after The Bachelor. Although he expressed interest in sports broadcasting. Prior to this, Joey told Jimmy Kimmel that he wanted to continue being a reality show star. In fairness, some of Bachelor Nation's stars have gone on to become more famous... but most have not. While fans are confused about how he makes money post-Bachelor, one thing is certain... the man doesn't have a plan.

Prior to The Bachelor, Joey was a tennis instructor who graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies. He was briefly in the corporate world before he moved to Hawaii to teach tennis. According to Salary.com, tennis instructors make an average of $57k per year which wouldn't go a long way with the State of Hawaii's extremely high cost of living.

Joey Graziadei Couldn't Pay Off His Bills

During the Trading Secrets podcast, Joey admitted that he had a terrible credit score due to failing to pay off a few bills.

Where Does Joey Graziadei Live?

After ABC put Joey up for his time on The Bachelor, the reality show star claims to have been living in his sister's basement. After getting engaged to Kelsey Anderson (who earned his rose on the show), he moved in with her and three other roommates in New Orleans.

“I feel like I'm full-on in a New Girl situation,” Joey explained on the podcast.

Howard Stern Exposes Problems On The Bachelor Amid Joey Graziadei's Money Problems

Howard Stern addresses Joseph Graziadei's scandal on his June 17th, 2024 show. A caller sparked the conversation after she praised Stern for actively criticizing Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants for having no job prospects after the show. Stern went on to claim that the women on The Bachelor are living in "a fantasy situation". Because of the show, they are staying in the finest resorts, traveling the world, and living a lifestyle that only few can attain. But this is all staged by the producers of The Bachelor and the ABC network.

In reality, most of the Bachelors (as well as the contestants) have no money to their name and no job prospects. Stern claimed that this is one of the biggest problems of the show behind the scenes... and it drives him "crazy".

Stern went on to say that the Bachelor contestants are often dubbed into thinking that The Bachelor is richer than he is. But he focused his criticism on Joey Graziadei.

"This Joey, as I've said to [my co-host, Robin Quivers] many times... this guy's got no life. He's got no career. He's a handsome guy, I'll give him that. Nice looking boy. But he's sort of a tennis instructor... and then you find out he lives in his sister's apartment that he doesn't pay rent on."

Stern went on to say, "Wait until these girls get a dose of this reality."

The radio show host was critical of Joey as he hadn't done much to advance his life and career aside from being on a reality show. As a result, he has no prospects and lives with his sister. He then went on to slam Joey for his comments during a podcast (Trading Secrets) interview.

In the interview, Joey and his fiance Kelsey revealed that he had moved out of his sister's house and into Kelsey's and her roommates' place.

"I want to see that reality show," Stern joked. "She's rich compared to him. She's at least got a place, but with a couple of roommates."

According to Kelsey, she and Joey shared a three-bedroom, three-bathroom place in New Orleans with three other roommates. As Stern pointed out, this is hardly the Bachelor lifestyle she or the other contestants became accustomed to.

"This guy doesn't have enough dough to get his own place," Stern said. "It's like [they] are teenagers."

The radio host then criticized Joey for failing to pay his bills and therefore having a terrible credit score. Particularly because Joey seemed to have a laissez-faire attitude about it all. Both Stern and his longtime co-host Robin Quivers claimed that ABC unintentionally lulls their contestants into a false state of reality.

"Why would you want to be with a guy -- he's 30 years old and he's moving in with you and your roommates?" Stern asked, slamming Kelsey for brushing off the significant issues with her fiance.

"[On the podcast] Joey talked about his job prospects and it's literally like listening to a nine-year-old talking about what they want to be when they grow up."

Following this, Stern played a clip of Joey stating that he wanted to use his reality show fame to become a sports broadcaster... despite having absolutely no credentials.

"[Joey and Kelsey] sound like idiots."

"Wouldn't you like to see after The Bachelor, and see these two living in an apartment together with the three roommates...? Although that would give them a career, I guess. Better they don't. I want reality to smack them in the face. "

After his criticisms of Joey and Kelsey's perspectives on their careers and their financial situation, the radio personality admitted that he and his wife didn't like their season of The Bachelor. Mostly because he never liked Joey and saw right through him and his laziness.
