Jenn Tran’s ex shocked everyone when she showed up on The Bachelorette to win Jenn back. Even though it didn’t work in the end, it was a grand gesture and he doesn’t regret trying.
However, while he’s not resentful of Jenn’s choice not to take him back, he’s now complaining about one of the show’s decisions.
Matt took to TikTok and revealed that he had opened up about his relationship with Jenn on the Men Tell-All but the show cut his part out.
“When they made me come to Men Tell All, rehash everything out, just to cut the whole segment out…” he wrote on the post. He then added in the caption: “Release the tapes it got juicy.”
When Matt showed up on the show, he laid it all on the line, telling Jenn that he was still in love with her, which caught everyone, including Jenn, off guard.
“For him to come here is just a big shock,” Jenn said on the July 29 episode. “We dated three years ago. Matt is not the toxic ex I’m referring to [on the show]. He’s not the one who messed me up a little bit. We recently reconnected in the past few months as friends — or so I thought as friends.”
Although she clearly still cared about him, in the end, she decided to leave their romance in the past and embrace the future.

While Jenn Tran was very appreciative of Matt Rossi's grand gesture, in the end, she turned him down, to the other suitors' relief. However, it wasn't an easy decision.
“He wants to be with me and he wants to join this journey,” she informed her suitors on the August 5 episode. “I mean, there’s a lot of feelings, there’s a lot of things going on. So Matt is here tonight, and I do need to talk to him. So, I will be right back.”

History wasn't enough, though. Looking at her suitors, Jenn told them that she knew the "right guy" for her was there. She didn't need to revisit the past.
“She let me know her future’s in this room," Matt explained after speaking to Jenn privately. "She feels confident that you guys can offer her something I can’t, and I’m just here to apologize. I’m not here to take anything away from your experience.”
While their journey on the show was heavily documented, fans now know that there are details that have been kept secret. Hopefully, the "juicy" footage Matt wants released will be shown one day.
