From the beginning of this season of The Bachelorette, it was obvious that Jenn Tran knew what she wanted and she wasn’t going to settle for anything less. She recently had a good moment with one of her suitors, Marcus, who she considered to be thoughtful and reliable. It seems Sam M. didn't make the same impression.

In the previews for the upcoming chapter, it looks like Sam ignored Jenn's feelings about something important, and she was very upset about it. She recently spoke about what she was looking for in a partner, and being listened to and supported was very important to her. She clearly stated that she didn't feel supported by Sam during their date.

She has always made it clear to her suitors that she wanted to be with someone who took care of her and respected her, and she felt disrespected by something that Sam M. did during a one-on-one date.

PEOPLE obtained an exclusive preview of the upcoming Bachelorette episode, and Jenn’s feelings couldn’t be clearer.

Jenn and Sam were in New Zealand for their one-on-one date, admiring the view from the Auckland SkyJump & SkyWalk. For their date, they had the option of going on a walk or doing the jump. Jenn commented that she’d like to take a walk, but Sam spoke up for her.

“No, we would like to jump,” he replied.

Jenn was furious. Let’s remember that, not long ago, she had to overcome her fear of skydiving and was really appreciative of Marcus’ steady support through her fear, so needless to say, she doesn’t take extreme sports lightly, and jumping off a building is not something anyone should be forced to do.

“Without even asking me, he made a decision for the both of us. I think he needs to be doing a better job of reading my emotions right now. I am clearly terrified and Sam’s not reading my emotions at all. I feel like I’m up here all by myself.”

Jenn Tran On What She Looks For In A Partner

Disrespecting Jenn Tran's wishes like that, however unintentionally, was probably the worst thing Sam M. could have done, as Jenn is unlikely to let it go.

Not long ago, Jenn spoke about what she looks for in a potential partner, and while she knows it's likely to change through time, she has an idea of what she's looking for.

“What I really was looking for was things that I had struggled with in my previous relationships,” she explained. “I didn't want someone who was selfish, I didn't want someone who was insecure, I didn't want someone who was going to shoot me down when I had something to say.”

Jenn Tran is not interested in drama this season as she knows what she wants.

Specifically, she wants a partner that does the opposite of what Sam did during their date.

“I really wanted a partner, somebody that could listen to me and understand me and embrace who I am and allow me to have that voice.”

There's still some time left on the show, so nothing is set in stone, but Sam seems to have really hurt his chances with his faux pas.
