There have been so many memorable leads from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. There's Season 15's The Bachelorette Hannah Brown, who has been ranked the most popular lead of the franchise, Season 8's The Bachelor Dr. Travis Stork, who found fame with The Doctors, and Season 25's The Bachelor Matt James, whose fans are still waiting for him to finally pop the question to girlfriend Rachael Kirkonnell.
Gabby Windey is also one of these very popular franchise leads. Gabby began her journey as a contestant on Clayton Echard's very messy season, in which she and contestant Rachel Recchia were both runner-ups. Gabby and Rachel were then confirmed as the leads for the nineteenth season of The Bachelorette, a first for the franchise. Unfortunately, Gabby didn't end up finding her perfect partner.
Since then, Gabby has been in the spotlight for placing second on the 31st season of Dancing With The Stars, and made a huge announcement to the world when she came out as gay on The View. Here's what Gabby has been up to now since sharing her truth.

Bachelor franchise cast members share details about how producers manipulate storylines to create drama.
Gabby Windey Came Out On The View
Gabby Windey was unsuccessful in finding love as both a contestant on The Bachelor and the lead on The Bachelorette. However, appearing as a guest on The View in August 2023, Gabby gave fans an update on her love life that may have shocked Bachelor Nation.
The reality star announced that she was in a committed relationship with a woman. Gabby explained that she had been keeping it a secret because she wanted to share the news at the right time, and what better way to announce her romance with a woman than at a table surrounded by influential women.
"I've been keeping it kind of private because it is a bigger story and a bigger conversation because I'm dating a girl."
Gabby told the women that she did not ever think she would ever be in a relationship with a woman, but something inside of her told her otherwise. She kept her feelings towards the same sex closed off as she believed coming out would come with shame.
"I think it was always a whisper in me that just got louder and louder. I didn't really know to pay attention to it. When this happens, there's some shame surrounding it. I had to a little bit navigate through the shame; what it is, where is it coming from."
After sharing her truth and feeling comfortable enough to share with the world that she was dating a woman, Gabby took to Instagram to reveal who was the new woman in her life.
Gabby shared a collage of photos with girlfriend Robby Hoffman, a comedian and television writer. She captioned her photos, "Told you I'm a girls girl!!"
In an interview with Glamour, Gabby went into further detail about realizing she was attracted to women. She also credited a bi-sexual and lesbian storyline in Netflix's Perfect Match for helping her explore her sexuality. In addition, the reality star shared that "there had been signs since my childhood" and that "there were probably other things that I just suppressed or told myself was nothing."
"Sometimes before I went to bed at night, out of nowhere, when I was fully straight, or whatever, I would think, What if I was gay? and then I'd be like, Oh, my God, that's just a crazy thought that I'm having; it's Freudian. But it became louder and louder. It was almost like I was afraid for it to happen for some reason."

That December, the couple celebrated their first Christmas together with Gabby and Robby wearing matching pajamas as they sat in front of a decorated tree.
Gabby might have shared that she was dating a woman in August 2023, but over on Instagram, it was revealed that her relationship started much sooner. In May, the reality star celebrated her one-year dating anniversary with Robby.
In a touching Instagram post that consisted of photos of the couple on different outings, she wrote, "Happy anniversary baby!!! In just one year, you've given me the world and taught me all the ways which love can heal. Not I can't imagine ever going a year without you. I love you baby, it's just the beginning!!"
The Reality Star Launched A Podcast
