Below Deck's Chef Rachel Hargrove spoke with the Unpopular podcast host Jacques Peterson about her time on the show. Despite her limited stretch of seven episodes, she made an outstanding impact on the season with her outspoken personality.
She dished about Francesca's treatment of Elizabeth and her own heavily-edited argument with Captain Lee.
Captain Lee And The 'F-Bomb'
Rachel surprised listeners with the misunderstanding that she told Captain Lee to, "go f*ck himself." She said it was all because of the production's edits.
"I actually don't tell Lee to go f*ck himself," she said, "I'm pissed at production and I'm pissed at the preference sheet because I'm like, 'Are you f*cking kidding me? You're going to do another Charlie to me?'
The chef who's made her mark in various countries like Italy and Thailand was okay with Bravo's decision to not break the fourth wall, and is visibly unphased with "Karen's clutching their pearls."

She continued, "So many people were like, 'No you said f*ck you to Lee!' I was like are you kidding me? I love and adore that man...everybody else yes, go f*ck yourself, but him no." As long as the drama pulls in positive ratings, no complaints on her end.
Francesca And Elizabeth's Drama
Rachel also gave her two cents on the ongoing disagreements between Francesca Rubi and Elizabeth Frankini, "Elizabeth comes from a very relaxed environment...very relaxed, chill Bahamas cruising boats."
Francesca's leadership, as Rachel detailed, didn't mesh with that mentality, "Fran comes from larger boats...And you can bring that level of service higher. I actually come from that background as well."
She further expressed that their inability to work things out for the sake of charters affects her own department. However, she noted some of Francesca's specifically unnecessary behavior.
"I also watched Fran kind of single out Elizabeth a little extra spec'. I got tired of it because I kept hearing both of them come to me...I got tired of it because it sounded like it almost became, like, bullying."
Rachel suggested that Elizabeth should go straight to Lee, otherwise, nothing would happen. She included that she does her best to not involve herself in social media, and doesn't put up with any form of bullying on board.
