Below Deck opened viewers' eyes to the wonderful world of yachting. While the yachts are massive and the charter guests are mega-rich, it’s a different story for those working onboard. Everyone on board the ship works their butt off all hours of the day to keep the guests happy and smiling, but it comes at a price...

The yachting world isn’t for everyone. In such close quarters, some people can’t take the heat, the long hours, or even constructive criticism. And sadly, this has led to them being fired from either the yacht itself or by Bravo.

In the fourth season of Below Deck Mediterranean, Mila Kolomeitseva was signed on to be the chef of Sirocco. She claimed to be this incredibly trained chef from Russia but what she showed was anything but incredible.

It seems as though the cast of Below Deck isn't making Real Housewives reality TV type money.

She made nachos with hard cheese and soggy chips — she even microwaved steak! Mila was on for five episodes before Captain Sandy had enough of her horrendous cooking and fired her from the ship. Mila left in tears and with a huge chip on her shoulder.

9 June Foster

Also in the fourth season of Below Deck Mediterranean, June Foster was asked to come on board as a third stew after Anastasia took over for Mila in the kitchen, leaving space for another stewardess. June did a fine job as third stew except for the fact that she seemed rather lazy and never answered Hannah when she needed her (ahem, "June, June, Hannah").

After Anastasia had enough of the kitchen, Sandy hired a new chef and Anastasia went back to being the third stew. This meant they had one too many people working, which is when Sandy let June go from her duties. June, of course, was annoyed that she came all that way for nothing.

8 Leon Walker

Leon Walker was sent home during Season 3 of Below Deck

Season 3 of Below Deck, Leon Walker signed on as chef of Eros. While chief stews sometimes butt heads with their chefs, none were more hostile than Chef Leon and Kate Chastain.

The two had different views on how to run the ship, but things got worse when a fire broke out in the kitchen. Both Kate and Leon blamed each other for the fire, but we all know it was Leon's fault. If he cleaned the oven pans like he was supposed to, an oven fire wouldn't have happened when Kate used it.

Captain Lee went on to fire Leon over his bruised ego and far too many injustices. He even wrote a blog about it.

7 Chandler Brooks

Chandler Brooks was on Season 6 of Below Deck on ship My Seanna. As a bosun, Chandler had a big duty on board and was genuinely happy to work with his team and under Captain Rosbach. To be fair, everything started well with Brooks.

Sadly, as time went on, it was obvious Chandler wasn't a great leader, couldn't communicate, and was anything but organized. While his job as bosun was falling apart, things got worse for him when he refused to help the chief stew when she needed it. Chandler was eventually fired for one too many mistakes and not being a team player.

6 Danny Zureikat

Oh, Danny. In Season 1 of Below Deck Mediterranean, Danny Zureikat was hired as a deckhand. The only problem was, he acted like a kid in a candy shop. It was if Danny had never worked in a professional environment before. He was too obsessed with his own image, his phone, and trying to party with guests.

Things got worse for Danny when he went head-to-head with practically everything and later gave his number to a guest, which was a huge no-no. Danny was soon fired by Captain Mark Howard.

5 Peter Hunziker

Peter Hunziker was fired from Season 5 of Below Deck Mediterranean after he shared offensive material on social media at the beginning of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Additionally, Peter showed sexist and misogynistic behavior on the show. He posted an extremely inappropriate meme on his Instagram post and refused to apologize for it. Instead, he made up inapt excuses for it.

Peter was later fired and most of his scenes were edited out on the show.

4 Andrew Sturby

In Season 2 of Below Deck, Andrew Sturby was fired from the ship, Ohana. As soon as the season started, Andrew claimed to be this well-polished deckhand who had worked on some incredible ships.

But as time went on, Captain Lee realized Andrew had no idea what he was doing. He let the anxiety get in his way and his lies eventually caught up to him after Captain Lee fired him.

3 Chris Brown

Chris Brown was a deckhand in Season 5 of Below Deck, but he didn't last long. While his resume was impressive, Chris wasn't too fond of hard work, which is concerning as a deckhand.

Even though Chris got caught sleeping on the job, Captain Rosbach didn't fire him until the bosun and co-bosun situation got complicated and there was eventually no room for Chris onboard.

2 Trevor Walker

Trevor Walker was a deckhand in Season 4 of Below Deck; however, not many fans remember him because he only lasted four episodes. While he was okay at his job, he wasn't friendly to anyone on the yacht — including the captain.

Captain Lee even commented on Trevor's drinking habits, claiming he drank far too much and wasn't a teammate on board. As a leader on the ship, he had to get along with others and that's something he couldn't do. Captain Lee fired him with ease.

1 Dane Jackson

In the same season as Chef Leon Walker's firing, Dane Jackson was also let go from the same ship. Dane was a deckhand who came in the middle of the season and was eventually let go after just four episodes.

He was a hard worker and easy on the eyes but he drank too much one weekend, butchering his reputation and causing him to be fired.
