23 Harrison Ford — Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Harrison Ford is just about as A-list as it gets when it comes to actors. One of his earliest roles was the iconic Han Solo in the Star Wars franchise, a role he'd go on to reprise over a span of four decades. From there Ford went on to star in countless popular blockbusters, like Air Force One, The Fugitive, What Lies Beneath, and more.
Arguably one of Ford's biggest roles, however, was the adventurer, Indiana Jones. The original film of the franchise is now streaming on Disney Plus, introducing a whole new generation to the heart-racing franchise. Harrison would go on to play the archaeologist in multiple films of the franchise over the years, including its latest installment, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which premiered in 2023.
22 Bryan Cranston — Isle of Dogs (2018)
Bryan Cranston first made a real name for himself as the dad on the hit sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, which ran for seven seasons in the early '00s. He also became known for other bit roles, like his guest star role as a dentist on Seinfeld. Cranston went on to star in one of the most critically-acclaimed shows around, AMC's Breaking Bad, as the chilling Walter White, for which he won many awards, including multiple Emmys.
In Isle of Dogs, you don't necessarily see Cranston, but you definitely hear him. In the film, there's a town in Japan that banishes all its dogs to Trash Island amid a dog flu pandemic. In the film, Cranston plays Chief, a former stray dog who ends up being a leader of a pack of dogs. The film consists of stop-motion animation and stars a slew of A-listers, including Bill Murray, Edward Norton, and Tilda Swinton, just to name a few.
21 Chris Pratt — Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 (2023)
If you're a Chris Pratt fan, you probably remember watching him tickle everyone's funny bone on the hit comedy series, Parks and Recreation on NBC. From there, Pratt went on to star in the drama series, Everwood, and a handful of movies, including Jennifer's Body, Moneyball, and Zero Dark Thirty. But Pratt really reached his A-list status thanks to his appearance in massive blockbusters, like the Jurassic World films and Guardians of the Galaxy. He also played leading roles in Passengers, The Tomorrow World, and The Magnificent Seven.
If you're a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, you'll be excited to know its third installation is now available to stream, and is one of the Best Movies on Disney Plus. The film stars some of your favorite actors, including Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Will Poulter, and more. Similar to the other films of the franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3 was a hit at the box office, grossing a reported $845 million worldwide and was the third-highest grossing of 2023.
20 Zoe Saldaña — Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Originally from New Jersey, Zoe Saldaña is one of the biggest actresses in Hollywood. With a background in dance, Saldaña landed one of her first films as a ballet student in Center Stage before starring alongside Britney Spears in Crossroads. But it wasn't until Saldaña landed a part in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl that she really gained celebrity status. She then went on to star in a number of high-grossing films, earning countless nominations and a handful of awards.
Saldaña's biggest role is arguably that in the Avatar franchise (which has some of the highest-grossing films of all time) as Na'vi Warrior Princess Neytiri. The second installment in the saga, Avatar: The Way of Water, is currently one of the Best Movies Disney Plus, starring Saldaña, Kate Winslet, Sam Worthington, and Sigourney Weaver.
19 Paul Rudd — Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (2023)

His charm shines through every role he takes on — even his earlier roles, like the love interest in Clueless, showed his star quality. In more recent years, Rudd has become a pro at delivering laughs, starring in This Is 40, Anchorman, I Love You, Man, and more, including a recurring role on Friends.
Rudd really shot up to A-list status after taking on the role of Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You can catch his portrayal of the iconic character in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, currently streaming on Disney Plus. This is the third installment of the Ant-Man saga, and it required Rudd to get in incredible shape, as his Crossfit trainer described his training work ethic as "relentless."
18 Brie Larson — Captain Marvel (2019)
Brie Larson has been acting for most of her life. In fact, she was the youngest student to enroll in the American Conservatory Theater at the young age of six. Larson started her career taking on small roles in various films and TV shows, including the recurring role in The United States of Tara. But it wasn't until she starred in the drama, The Room, that she really scored some attention, like a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actress.
In more recent years, Larson has earned her A-list by taking on the role of Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Captain Marvel is the first film that stars the actress in the role. Larson acted alongside other big-time celebs, like Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Chris Evans.

Nyong'o has also secured a spot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Nakia, one of the most powerful warriors in Wakanda of the Black Panther film series. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features a cast of well-known actors, including Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, and Danai Gurira.
16 Jake Gyllenhaal — Strange World (2022)
Unlike many of the actors on this list, Jake Gyllenhaal (and his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal) was born into a family of actors, as he's the son of director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner. After taking on recognizable roles in both October Sky and Donnie Darko, Gyllenhaal went on to star in huge blockbusters, such as Zodiac, The Day After Tomorrow, and Brokeback Mountain, for which he scored an Oscar nomination and a BAFTA win.
In Strange World, an animated comedy-action flick now streaming on Disney Plus, Gyllenhaal plays Searcher Clade, a member of the Clade family. In the film, multiple generations of Clades come together to explore a foreign land just beneath them. The film has an impressive cast of stars, including Dennis Quaid, Lucy Liu, and Gabrielle Union.
15 Ryan Reynolds — Free Guy (2021)
Funny guy Ryan Reynolds has been continuing to make fans giggle in both his movies and witty tweets. The Candian-American actor's career has come a long way over the years, as he's started small in minor appearances in various TV shows and films. Eventually, he went on to star in notable movies, like Just Friends, National Lampoon's Van Wilder, and The Proposal. And more recently, he's become a recognizable action star, as he's now the face of the superhero, Deadpool, in movies of the same name.
Free Guy combines Reynolds' talent for action and comedy, as he plays a regular bank teller who finds out he's a background player in a huge online game, leading him on an adventure to uncover a stolen game source code by the hands of the CEO of a big gaming company. The film also stars Dwayne Johnson and Joe Keery of Stranger Things. Whether there will be a sequel to Free Guy continues to be unknown.
14 Octavia Spencer — Hidden Figures (2016)
Octavia Spencer has come a long way over the course of her career. She started as a guest star in a ton of different shows, like ER and Moesha, before starring in small roles in hit films, like Big Momma's House, Bad Santa, and more. Her big break came, however, when she played a significant role in The Help, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, leading to more great parts in The Shape of Water, Self Made, and Thunder Force.
One of Spencer's most respected roles, however, was in Hidden Figures, in which she played Dorothy Vaughan, a NASA employee who helped prepare John Glenn's now-famous orbital mission. Based on a true story, the film also stars Kevin Costner, Taraji P. Henson, and Janelle Monáe, and is certainly deserving of its spot as one of the Best Movies On Disney+.
