When it comes to the acting greats, it's hard to not think of Meryl Streep. One of the most versatile actresses around, Streep has starred in an incredibly wide range of films, from rom-coms to dramas and everything in between. The critically-acclaimed actress has been nominated for an Academy Award a whopping 21 times, winning three of them. You may recognize her from iconic films like Out of Africa, Kramer vs. Kramer, Sophie's Choice, and many more.

Watching Extrapolations is like experiencing a bunch of shows in one, as it follows intertwined characters in eight different stories. Exploring the potentially damaging effects of climate change across different times, the show is bursting at the seams with talent, starring Streep, Edward Norton, Diane Lane, and more. But don't worry, despite its subject matter, the show's creator, Scott Burns, insists it's not a doomsday-style show.

25 Jennifer Garner — The Last Thing He Told Me (Season 1)

Jennifer Garner has arguably become one of the most likable actors in Hollywood. From her fun shows and movies to her wholesome social media presence, Garner can serve as a breath of fresh air in the fast-paced Hollywood world. While Garner made a name for herself as the lead in the hit show Alias, she went on to star in many different high-grossing films. You may recognize her from flicks like 13 Going on 30, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Juno, and more.

The Last Thing He Told Me is an Apple TV+ limited series starring Garner, Aisha Tyler, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Based on a best-selling novel, this show follows Garner's character, Hannah, as she attempts to protect her stepdaughter after her husband vanishes. While the series has only seven episodes, it's an exciting watch viewers will likely want to finish in a night or two.

Originally from Virginia, Jason Sudeikis worked his way up to becoming one of the most successful comedians in Hollywood today. He first made a name for himself as both a writer and cast member of NBC's Saturday Night Live. From there, he went on to star in supporting roles in tons of films, including What Happens in Vegas, Horrible Bosses, We're the Millers, and more.

Sudeikis' most recent claim to fame is his role in the hit TV series, Ted Lasso, and it's certainly one of the Best Shows on Apple TV. Viewers appreciate the show's light-heartedness and find it entertaining and quite humorous. Sudeikis plays a college football coach who gets hired to coach an English soccer team, and hilarity ensues. While the show was wildly popular, its third season will be its last, as Sudeikis admits that it was written that way.

23 Elisabeth Moss — Shining Girls (Season 1)

Elisabeth Moss has become a pro at starring in binge-worthy dramas. Her acting has kept us glued to the screen in hit series like Handmaid's Tale, Mad Men, and Top of the Lake. Based on the novel of the same name by Lauren Beukes, the psychological thriller follows Moss's character after she escapes an attack by a serial killer, suddenly noticing things about her reality changing without any explanation.

22 Rose Byrne — Physical (Season 3)

Rose Byrne is originally from Australia, but she's become quite recognizable in the U.S. She's starred in a slew of comedies, including Bridesmaids, Get Him to the Greek, and the Neighbors films. Byrne has also appeared in the Insidious franchise and multiple X-Men films. And for her part in the thriller series, Damages, Byrne earned two Golden Globe and Emmy nominations.

In Physical, Byrne plays Sheila Rubin, a miserable housewife who connects with herself by way of aerobics. The dark comedy currently is in its third season and also stars Rory Scovel and Della Saba. Physical takes place in the '80s, a time when image was everything and hypocrisy was around every corner, and the show's dynamic use of voiceover portraying Sheila's innermost thoughts is a commentary on the time.

21 Nicole Kidman — Roar (Season 1)

If you were to look up "A-list stars" in the dictionary, Nicole Kidman's picture would surely be there. The Australian-American actress has starred in countless critically-acclaimed films, including Eyes Wide Shut, Moulin Rouge, and The Hours, for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role. And more recently, she starred in the popular TV series, Big Little Lies.

Roar, which was first released on Apple TV+ in 2022, features a series of stories all revolving around unique women and their own perspectives. With a dark, humorous edge, the show features a large cast of talented actors, including Kidman, Issa Rae, Nick Kroll, Betty Gilpin, and many more.

20 Adam Scott — Severance (Season 1)

If you're a fan of Adam Scott, then you're likely a lover of comedy. And while the actor made a name for himself in one of the leading roles in the hit comedy series, Parks and Recreation, Scott has scored tons of supporting roles in both comedic and dramatic films, like Knocked Up, Friends With Kids, Our Idiot Brother, and more.

Unlike many of his previous roles, Scott plays a more serious role in Severance. The show revolves around Scott's character, Mark, as he navigates his job at a company that wipes employees' memories as soon as they walk through the door. While the show can be a little slow at times, its many twists and turns make it a fun, somewhat creepy watch. A second season is predicted to be released in early 2024. We're certain Severance's second season will be one of the Best Shows on Apple TV+ when it's released.

Gary Oldman is far from a newcomer in the entertainment world. The English actor and filmmaker has quite an impressive filmography and has portrayed some of the most recognizable villains. You may recognize his evil characters from films like The Fifth Element, the Harry Potter franchise, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and more.

Slow Horses, a dark comedy, has become one of Apple TV+'s more popular series, as it follows failed British intelligence agents who make up the team known as MI5. Oldman plays the head of this unique department, joined by a talented cast. Currently, only two seasons of the show have been released, but it's been reported to have been renewed for a third and fourth season.

A real blockbuster movie veteran, Harrison Ford has long been one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Jennifer Aniston has been a household name for quite some time now, as she reached worldwide fame in her role as Rachel Green on the hit sitcom, Friends, for which she received Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild awards. While she started as a TV star, she has taken the movie world by storm, starring in tons of hit flicks, like Along Came Polly, The Break-Up, Impossible Bosses, Cake, and more.

The Morning Show on Apple TV+ is one of Aniston's most recent hits, and it served as one of the earliest shows on the network. After the news show's leading anchor gets fired amid sexual abuse allegations, the rest of the network's employees are left dealing with the aftermath. Along with Aniston, The Morning Show also features A-list actors Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell. The first episode of the highly anticipated third season of the show was released in September 2023.
