Yet again, Big Brother is off to a blazing hot start. The Ainsley twist on BB26 certainly caused chaos. In addition, there is controversy. We've seen in the past, houseguests getting accused of cheating. In this instance, the houseguest in question isn't cheating, but might have more experience than the others. This person also happens to be the most entertaining and powerful cast member, having just won the HOH, Angela Murray.

Angela Murray has quite a history in the reality TV space and, ironically, the shows are all linked to CBS, which has also raised eyebrows from fans and the media. Fans have a lot to say about her casting, though Murray revealed different motives for appearing on the show, calling it a dream. Regardless, she has already provided fans with some classic moments just a couple of episodes in.

Fans Are Questioning Angela Murray's Big Brother Casting Given Her Background In Reality TV

Early on during the Big Brother season, Angela Murray is becoming a prominent name. Her energy was on full display early on, and adding to it, she won the first HOH of the season. However, fans did some digging, and realized that Murray has quite the history in reality TV games shows. Among her resume includes House calls with Dr. Phil back in 2021, The Price Is Right in 2019, Let's Make a Deal the same year.

Angela Murray won $20,000 during her time on Let's Make A Deal.

Fans notice a link between all those shows being CBS related, and the same holds true for Big Brother... Could it be that the network is using Murray as a plant to add excitement? Fans are certainly believing it. However, Murray admits she has other motives for being on Big Brother, given that it has been a dream to appear on the show.

Murray said about her casting, "It finally came to pass that my kids were all grown and there was nothing holding me back anymore to apply. And so, what did I do? I applied, I applied, I applied, I applied, when nobody knew I was applying because I wanted it so bad. Being on this show means a great deal to me."

Ainsley on BB26 has been identified as Cosette, who has more than 2 million followers on TikTok.

As for her expectations, Angela is expecting to take home the grand prize.

“I am going to win 'Big Brother' because I am a people person. I’m very intuitive to how people are acting, how they’re thinking, I can read faces, so I’ll always know when people are scheming.”

Thus far, Murray is certainly backing up her words, taking control as the first HOH of the summer, and creating several alliances with the power.

Cirie Fields Admitted Her Background In Reality TV Didn't Help Her Big Brother Experience

Cirie Fields is comparable to Angela Murray. Cirie, however, is a legend of Survivor, and admits things were completely different on Big Brother. For those that assumed Cirie might have an edge, having played a reality show in the past, that was not the case.

Fields revealed there was no escaping the mental vice grip of BB25. She tells Us in a 2023 interview, “The difficulty [of Big Brother] is, [there’s] no escaping it. You’re on 24/7, there’s someone waiting to speak to you the second that you open your eyes. There is no escaping, there’s no time alone. It’s just a consistent mental vice grip that does not exist in the game of Survivor.”

In terms of differences from Survivor, Cirie admits hanging to an alliance in the BB house is much more difficult. Cirie revealed alongside EW:

  • "On Survivor, you can form an alliance on day one — even a group of people in an alliance — that will maintain and sustain the time of the entirety of the game. Whereas in Big Brother, you have to play pretty much week by week and day by day. Even with forming alliances and connections, they come and go, whereas Survivor, they're sustained, in my opinion."
  • "The difficult part was managing my alliances and the sharing of information within those alliances. That was more difficult than I've ever experienced because in the Big Brother house, information is like trains at a subway — it goes and comes every 10 minutes, and that I was not prepared for."

Although she made it 93 days and into 5th place, Cirie wasn't entirely content with her Big Brother 25 performance.

Fans On Reddit Debated The Most Rigged Big Brother Seasons Ever

Big Brother had other seasons that had fans questioning the legitimacy of the show. Fans on Reddit felt as though the show might've protected certain houseguests over the years. Fans had a lot to say looking back on some questionable moments.

Which Big Brother moments did fans on Reddit question as rigged?

  • "Something to point out about BB13, Rachel literally said that production called the vets pre-game and promised them jury."
  • "A returning player with a pre-existing fanbase was placed in the house with all newbies in a season where every eviction was decided upon by America. And yet Jason still found a way to blow it."
  • "8, 13, and 19. No other seasons even come close to these 3."
  • "Not to say the whole season was rigged, but BB16 literally changed an entire competition to benefit Frankie to complete it by himself, then wouldn't let Caleb play to sabotage him."

Although season 26 has been questioned thus far, there is no denying what an excellent start it has been from an entertainment standpoint.
