Joe Agreed With Bill's Take

While Joe often has a history of poking and prodding at his guests, this time he agreed with Bill's stance on the film.

He echoed his sentiment that the story was very moving:

Yeah, it is a beautiful piece... [It's] an amazing piece of writing that so perfectly captured that very strange moment in time where the anti-war, the peace-love movement just got drowned out by the Nixon administration.

The two men went on to talk about how Hunter was a pioneer of "gonzo journalism," and that it was a shame that today's political climate was so stressful and fraught by comparison.
