During her return to Jimmy Kimmel Live, the artist was quick to bring up a moment that took place during their last interview. According to Eilish, she received a lot of heat from the fans because of Kimmel for not knowing Van Halen.

She told Jimmy, "Wait, really quick, do you remember last time I was here? And you made me look a little stupid. I thought it was funny because I was playing along, and everybody thought I was actually serious and didn’t know anything. I did know [them]. Yes, there was a lot things you asked, and I was like, ‘I don’t know,'” she said jokingly.

Kimmel's responded by saying that the moment was not meant with any type of intent, “Well, yeah, accidentally. I didn’t do it on purpose.”

Back in 2019, Billie Eilish felt the need to explain herself. A moment went viral showing Eilish walking away from fans and hearing boos, however, there was a different side of the story according to the artist.

"The only reason I'm making this is because I saw video of this all happening and I just wanted to clarify what actually happened," she said. "If you watch the video, it literally looks like I'm walking by a bunch of fans and completely ignoring them and not saying hi to them, which is not at all what happened."

According to Eilish, she greeted one group of fans, while the other group was only interested in getting a signed picture, likely to sell in the future. This would lead to Eilish walking away, and it created lots of boos and hate from the apparent 'fans'.

“I didn’t sign anything. It’s something that I don’t do because I used to, but I realized all anyone did was sell everything that I signed, so I stopped doing that. It was kind of like a policy of mine that I don’t."

"I started to walk away because I realized none of these people actually cared about anything that had to do with me as a person," Billie explained. "I walked over there only to say hi, only to hug people and I got pictures of me shoved into my face. I got no love whatsoever, so I left and then I got booed and [got] called a little b*tch and got told I was going to lose my Grammy nominations."

Eilish was stunned by the reaction and would go on to reveal that some of the paparazzi claimed, "Lorde would have stopped."

Billie was especially surprised by how quickly things changed. “The fact that people can switch up like that, damn," Billie continued. "They wait outside for you and then immediately they don’t get what they want and they boo you, and curse at you."
