8 Mall Cops: Mall Of America

Mall Cops: Mall of America was another TLC show that lasted one season after it premiered in 2010. The reality show followed the security team at the Mall of America in Minnesota, the largest mall in the United States.

The mall has more than 520 stores and 40 million visitors annually, so it's no easy job, but it looked like it didn't appeal to audiences as much as the network's other bizarre shows.

7 My Five Wives

TLC introduced the world to Sister Wives in 2010, which followed the life of Kody Brown, his four wives, and their 18 children. The show is already in its 14th season and has been a hit for the network.

In 2013, TLC premiered My Five Wives, a docu-reality series about the polygamist lifestyle of Brady Williams, his five wives, and their combined 24 children. The show only lasted two seasons, and while it was definitely up there with the network's most cringe-worthy shows, fans appear to prefer the original show, Sister Wives. 

6 My Strange Addiction

It first aired in 2010 and followed people's addictive behaviors such as eating bathroom cleaner, extreme bodybuilding, and eating half a roll of toilet paper a day to name a few. The show lasted six seasons and left fans baffled.

5 Toddlers & Tiaras

One of TLC's most controversial reality shows was 2009's Toddlers & Tiaras. The show took viewers behind the scenes of competitive child beauty pageants and the bizarre and shocking things parents did to make sure their child came out a winner.
