Bretman confirmed that he and his mysterious boyfriend called it quits. The influencer took to social media to reveal that he had, in fact, been "dumped."

Announcing Breakup in Series of Cryptic Tweets
The news was pretty bittersweet to fans, who seemed to be equally happy for Bretman for getting through the breakup and feeling great. Many agreed he deserved better. Others were upset that Bretman and his ex split before his man was ever officially revealed to fans. But this wasn't the first time that news of Bretman and his man seemingly splitting was shared with fans.
One week before the announcement, Bretman also subtly slid his single status into a vlog titled Get ready for a Zoom date with me! Some fans might also recall when Bretman hinted that he and his man had gone their separate ways with the help of Big Sean. In September 2020, he took to Twitter to tell fans, "Girl, I got something to tell y'all..."
He then prompted fans to figure out the message he was trying to send by going to Spotify, saying, "Lookup Big Sean and then title of the 5th song suggested."
At the time, fans were quick to figure out that Big Sean's song that Bretman was referring to was called Single Again, but many were unsure whether or not they should take this as confirmation.
