Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City won't be the same without friend of the housewives, Britani Bateman. There's her "high body count hair," her messy divorce, and of course, her on-and-off romance with Jared Osmond.

But despite Jared recently making his romance with Britani Instagram official, he's still spotted active on dating apps. Fans are convinced he's either cheating or the new reality TV couple "schemed" to launch their relationship to secure a spot on Season 6.

Britani is determined to "prove critics wrong" amid the backlash. But fans have serious doubts about this season's cast, like new snowflake holder, Bronwyn Newport, who's accused of using the show to divorce her husband Todd Bradley after spilling his infidelity.

Jared Osmond Is Reportedly Inviting Dates To Watch The RHOSLC Reunion At His Home

In the Reddit post dated December 29, 2024, a Salt Lake City resident posted photos of Jared's profile on Bumble. He's apparently looking for "a beautiful woman that has the ability to have a healthy and meaningful relationship." The screenshots were sourced from the Redditor's friend who's using the app.

They added that Jared is "in other local women's DM's even inviting them on dates to watch the reunion at his house." It doesn't sound like "life is good with Britani by my side," as the musician claimed in his cringe announcement of his relationship with the RHOSLC star.

The Reddit user suggested that Jared and Britani "both knew contract negotiations were coming up and schemed to 'hard launch.'"

Fans also criticized Jared for his bio—from his "dragon/slayer" pronouns to being "a 'conservative' man who wears tight white jeans and wears more jewelry than you do." One of Jared's profile photos was also from a photoshoot in Britani's ex-husband's office, which was rumored to be sent to the latter, who ended up dating Jared's ex...

While fans are divided about the theories on Britani and Jared's relationship, they're "sure the gals are gathering receipts for next season as we speak." Cast members of RHOSLC have been vocal about their disapproval of the couple. Lisa Barlow even noted that Jared was flirting with other women at her event even when he came there as Britani's date.

Funny enough, Britani had discovered that Jared "was on a dating app and wouldn't show me his phone."

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in mid-December, Britani also told Andy Cohen that she and Jared weren't together. She added that they "were not together during the reunion either" but they "were friends." So maybe Jared inviting dates to watch the reunion doesn't count as cheating now, because he wasn't dating Britani at the time of filming?

Jared did the Instagram hard launch on December 23. Screenshots of his Bumble profile came out just six days later... This is going to get old, fast. As a fan said: "Britani would be so much more interesting if she opened up more about her Broadway past or spoke more openly about how she strays from Mormonism (like how she drinks wine). Enough with the Osmond!"

On December 31, another Redditor shared a TikTok interaction with Britani after they criticized her relationship with Jared. "This is like the 40th time they've gotten back together," the user commented under the reality star's clip of the couple. "It won't last."

Britani responded, saying, "Will prove you wrong..."

In the Reddit post, the critic said: "I hope so Brit cuz you look like a clown thus far. . Also wasn't he just on Bumble like 2 days ago?" Another fan shared Britani's tweets about Jared, too. "He is precious and is my soulmate," she wrote. "I knew we'd work out in the end..."

Housewives fans are used to messy relationships and even enjoy the drama at times. What they can't take about Britani's situationship is that she previously opened up about prioritizing men over her children from whom she's estranged.

It's also why many viewers are opposed to her becoming a main cast member. "There's nothing fun or campy about her for me," someone wrote. "It wreaks of try hard, cringe, professional victimhood, and ditching her kids is the cherry on top."

But hey, it must also be why she sees Jared as her soulmate. "They feed off each other like vampires," one wrote. "No I don't feel sorry for her. She needs drama and excitement and something to complain about. 2 sides of the same coin."

Based on their social media activity, this couple loves it when people talk about them, even/especially when it's negative. "She knows we are gonna talk about this, she knows they'll break up again and she will look foolish and she doesn't care," said the original poster.
