In an interview with People on June 25, Chase discussed how his mother's hair had changed when she was incarcerated. She no longer had signature platinum blonde locks; instead, her natural brunette hue had returned, and she now had visible gray hair. Julie's platinum blonde era had come to an end, but Chase said he knew she would opt for another light blond color.
