Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset shocked the world when she announced her relationship with non-binary musician G Flip on the Selling Sunset reunion special on Netflix. Even her co-star Maya Vander had a stunned expression on her face when she revealed who she's been spending her time with lately. Luckily for Stause, she works with a lot of wonderful, supportive women who want her to be happy no matter her sexuality.
The women from Selling Sunset expressed their happiness for Stause during the reunion, while others have made comments about her sexuality outside of the special to the media. 8 Davina Is Proud Of Chrishell
Davina Potratz told People that she was "so proud" of Chrishell for coming out and for "being bold about it and owning" her sexuality. "I didn't know they were dating so me and Maya were like 'wow,' really surprised - I think that Heather didn't know, either," she said. "I knew they were friends, I had met them and they're super lovely and I'm excited. I'm just really happy for them, you know, but we didn't know they were dating so it was news for us too."
7 Brett Respects Chrishell
Brett Oppenheim, who is the brother of Chrishell's ex, Jason Oppenheim, told People that "she's always been someone who has not shied away from the moment, not shied away from being herself even if it means that she opens herself up to potential ridicule," he said. "I think everybody respects that or everyone should respect that. I certainly do."
6 Both Amanza And Mary Support Chrishell
Mary Fitzgerald told People that "I'm proud of her for being brave and saying her truth and I support her 1000 percent." Amanza Smith also told the magazine that she is supportive of Stause. "I support both of them and whatever they choose to do to be happy. And I love them," she said, referring to Stause and her ex-boyfriend, Oppenheim. Smith also commented on Stause's Instagram saying "Love you my sweet Chrishell. You are amazing in every way and there's nothing confusing about choosing happy! I am just sad I missed my chance! Love you to forever!"
5 Chelsea Says Chrishell Defines Her Family
In a comment on Stause's Instagram, Chelsea Lazkani said "Thank you. F*ck social /norms/. YOU define your family." During the Selling Sunset reunion, Lazkani said to Stause that she "gives everybody the ability to really just evolve and be vulnerable and be exposed and be bare. Because that's a lot and I know that was a lot for you." She continued and said "I see a happiness in you. I'm loving this for you. So, live your best life, sis!"
4 Maya Vander Didn't Know About Chrishell's Sexuality
Maya Vander said on the Selling Sunset reunion that she had no idea Stause was dating G Flip. She had a shocked expression on her face when her co-star announced the news. She responded to the announcement and said "I'm happy for you. Whatever makes people happy, it doesn't matter. I'm happy that you're happy and you're in a good place. I had no clue, so..."
3 Christine Quinn Is Happy For Chrishell
Christine Quinn, Stause's enemy on Selling Sunset, told Us Weekly that she is "so happy for them," referring to Stause and G Flip. "Love is amazing," she added. For those who watched season 5 of Selling Sunset, fans are aware that Quinn wasn't the biggest fan of Stause's relationship with Oppenheim, and claimed Stause was only getting good listings because she was "f*cking the boss," so her lovely comments about Stause's relationship with G Flip were a nice surprise.
2 Jason Oppenheim Thinks G Flip Is A Badass
When asked about how he felt about Stause's relationship with G Flip on the Selling Sunset reunion, Oppenheim replied "They seems like a badass, for one, and two, the smile that's been on your face the last couple of minutes makes me very happy. I'm proud of you." The three of them attended the MTV Unscripted Awards and both G Flip and Oppenheim hugged Stause when she won for favorite reality star. Stause told ET Online that the two are "thick as thieves." Oppenheim told ET Online that there was "zero" awkwardness between him and Stause, and said that they remained "very close."
1 Heather Didn't Know Who Chrishell Was Dating
On the Selling Sunset reunion, Heather Rae Young said "everyone asks me, I don't know what the F to say cause I don't know anything," she revealed. Apparently, Young gets asked a lot about Stause's love life. Davina and Maya also didn't know. It seemed as if most of the cast was completely unaware of her new sexual orientation or of her relationship with G Flip.
