After months of speculation about a separation and a Summer House trailer that hinted at relationship woes, Paige DeSorbo announced that she and Southern Charm star Craig Conover had called it quits on their relationship after three years of dating.

Throughout their time together, Craig and Paige continued to have a long-distance relationship. Paige had her life and career in New York City, while Craig established his business in Charleston, South Carolina. It seemed to be one of the many factors that drove a wedge between the two Bravo stars.

Let's dive into their relationship from the very start and see how the former couple first crossed paths on Summer House in 2021, to their decision to ultimately break-up and the end of 2024.

Craig and Paige first met when the former appeared as a guest on Summer House Season 4. They developed a close bond and became co-stars on the spin-off Winter House in 2021. At that time, Craig was getting over his breakup with Natalie Hegnauer and Paige was casually flirting with cast member Andrea Denver. Paige was also newly single, having broken up with her boyfriend, Perry Rahbar, in October 2020.

After filming Season 1 of Winter House, Paige and her friends traveled to Charleston, South Carolina. However, she cleared the air that she had traveled down south to visit Craig. Appearing as a guest on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Paige shared:

"Craig and I are a thousand percent not dating. Craig and I have known each other for years. We've always gotten along. We've always been friends. We have, like, very similar personalities. We are not romantically involved or anything, but we are very good friends."

However, Paige later revealed with ET in early 2022, that during her trip to Charleston, she met up with Craig and the two shared a kiss.

"On that trip, I realized that Craig was single—and we were nothing but friends on that trip—and then the last night he kind of kissed me," She added, "He was doing his thing in Charleston. I'm certainly doing my thing in New York, but we loved the time that we were together and hanging out. So we were very much casually dating."

While appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast in November 2021, Paige was asked why she hadn't made things Instagram official yet. "The only reason I haven't posted him is I haven't taken a grid-worthy pic."

However, the following month, she did find an Insta-worthy photo of the pair. Attending a holiday party, Paige shared a photo of Craig kissing her head and captioned it, "Sew in love."

In March 2022, Craig released his first memoir, Pillow Talk: What's Wrong with My Sewing? and in an interview with People, revealed that Paige reading his book before its release, made their bond grow even more.

"I told Paige I wanted her to read the book before it came out. I was very happy with her response. [Paige] flew through the first couple of chapters and she said she cried when she read about my experience with bullying," he said. "I think it helped her have a deeper understanding of who I am."

The Southern Charm star also shared that Paige sent him flowers to his hotel room on the day of his book release. "She's a great teammate and partner. She's an incredibly supportive person. She's so sweet."

Speaking with Page Six, Craig shared that he and Paige were already discussing their future plans.

"We have talked about marriage and spending our lives together, which we're happy about," he said. "We talk about kids and a family."

Paige lived and worked in New York City and Craig resided in Charleston where he worked on Southern Charm and established his business, Sewing Down South. When speaking about their future plans to live together, Craig shared on an episode of Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast:

Craig Conover's birthday

February 9, 1989 (Astrological sign: Aquarius)

Paige DeSorbo's birthday

November 6, 1992 (Astrological sign: Scorpio)

"I think we would be in Charleston, but I don't think she'll ever not have an apartment in New York. We're just in a fortunate place where we don't really have to make those hard cut decisions. We're just both so busy right now and traveling."

Their long-distance relationship would end up becoming a hot topic for the tabloids as they had never settled on a place to live together prior to their split.

In October 2022, Craig hinted that if he and Paige ever do have children, they will raise them in Charleston. He told E! News, "Eventually, when we get to the point to have kids, that will be in Charleston." He added, "I think as we start to move in that more settled-down direction, it will be further south."

And, although the pair discussed the idea of getting engaged during BravoCon 2022 that same month, Paige didn't appear to be on board with moving her entire life to Charleston:

"The thought of leaving and going to a new state is a lot for me, so I have to do it when I'm ready."

In February 2023, Paige doubled down on her statements regarding her living situation. It was a point of contention for the couple. She told People, "Obviously, we will argue about certain things, but I love being with my friends during the summer. I love living in New York. I love going to the Hamptons on the weekends. He's very supportive of that." She added, "I really do love my life the way it is."

In fact, in Summer House Season 7, Paige cried about moving away. "I would be changing my whole life. I have no friends in Charleston. My whole career is [in N.Y.C.]."

They were also brushing off haters who wondered about when they would take their romance to the next step. Speaking to People, Craig also shared that they weren't planning on getting engaged any time soon.

"It's funny how things evolve and change. I think there was so much pressure on that from the outside world, and that that's what I would say 'normal couples' did, that we were talking about it so much," he shared. Paige even admitted that they enjoyed having "two homes" because it felt "so chic."
