Curb Your Enthusiasm is not a money maker. The great Larry David makes some money from it, but his outlandishly impressive net worth comes from his time co-creating Seinfeld.

Curb doesn't have that kind of relationship with money. It's a cult show with a very dedicated audience that adores the humor of Larry David and his cohorts, including the fabulously funny, foul-mouthed Susie Essman... who plays Susie Greene on the show.

While the HBO comedy series (which is highly improvised) doesn't pay as well as network shows, it has made a healthy amount of money for Jeff Garlin, who plays Susie's husband Jeff Greene.

But what has it made Jeff's funky clothes loving "fish wife"?

While we don't know for sure, there is a little bit of information about her total net worth...

They Say Susie's Worth $8 Million, But That's Probably Quite Low

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Susie Essman, who was born in the Bronx and worked as a stand-up comedian for years, is worth around $8 million.

Frankly, this figure seems quite low for someone who has been a fixture on Comedy Central Roasts, done countless bit parts in movies like Bolt and Cop Out, and has been in 72 episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Seriously, Curb Your Enthusiasm just wouldn't be the same without Susie bullying Larry, Jeff, and Leon.

While paid cable shows like HBO notoriously play less than network shows, Curb is a mainstay at the network. It has also been airing for years and therefore the cast is bound to make a significant amount of money from it. For example, The Observer released the salaries for a couple of the cast members of HBO's Succession. Specifically, Brian Cox makes around $300,000 per episode while the rest of the cast is around $200,000.

Succession is an hour-long drama with a far larger budget than Curb, although it's a newer show with a smaller audience. Therefore, we'd guess that the Curb cast (aside from Larry David and Jeff Garlin, who also serves as an executive producer) might get paid something around $70 - $90 thousand per episode.

So, yeah, we'd guess that Celebrity Net Worth's number isn't entirely accurate.

But who cares what she's made on Curb or anywhere else. The woman is a star.

Regardless of how much she gets paid, Susie Essman has been nominated for two Screen Actor's Guild Awards for Curb and Critic's Choice TV Award for her work on Broad City.

On top of this, she's absolutely beloved by fans!

Susie Has Had Many Experiences Dealing With The Fans Of Curb Your Enthusiasm

During a fantastic cast interview with TV Editor Martin Miller and The Paley Center For Media, Susie Essman described what it's like to interact with the fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

While most Curb Your Enthusiasm fans tend to be quite intelligent and respectful, according to Jeff Garlin, Susie's fans tend to be more specific.

"My life has become extremely bizarre," Susie said while explaining what happens with her fans. "People just come up to me in the street - wherever I am, airports in St. Louis - begging me to tell them to go f*** themselves."

She continued, "It's like, I'm buying produce, I'm shaking a melon, you know, 'call me a fat f***!' ... It's like, I'm not always in the mood."

The other thing they tend to do with Susie is come up to her and re-tell her what happened in an episode... despite the fact that she was in it. Essentially, the fans just like to re-live the experience of an episode with the star they bump in to.

The one thing that Susie doesn't tend to deal with is episode pitches. Jeff Garlin and Richard Lewis, in particular, have claimed that "thousands" of fans have come up to them with Curb Your Enthusiasm episode ideas... even though Larry David writes his own stuff. He's mostly influenced by his own experiences. This has been true since the days of Seinfeld. An episode of which was even inspired by Larry's terrible experience at Saturday Night Live.

So, none of the cast members have ever pitched Larry ideas with the exception of Cheryl Hines, who has gotten one or two ideas on the show. This is one of many behind-the-scenes tidbits about the show.

"I can tell you, unequivocally, of the thousands of people, and it is thousands, who have come up to me with Curb ideas, I've never heard one funny one..." Jeff stated. "Not one. Ever! Ever, ever, ever!

This exclamation prompted Susie to add that she's had a couple of people come up to her and claim that they're exactly like Larry David. Although she hasn't, she said that she's always wanted to say, "No, you're an annoying, neurotic, accountant from Great Neck, Larry is a genius."

While there are definitely a few "fish-wives" like Susie Greene out there, no one is as much of a genius as the real thing.

Susie brings some truly edgy insults to the show and, like JB Smoove's Leon Black, steals every scene that she's in.

"Now, get the f*** out of my house!"
