Dave Portnoy is everywhere this week, but in particular, he's had a lot to say now that Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry have broken up ... and he's still talking.

Earlier this week, Dave made headlines when he attended an Eras Tour stop in Miami, where he says Taylor Swift sent him a "thank you" note.

Dave and Brianna are part of an "unlikely trio" hosting the BFFs podcast, though Dave is most associated with the Barstool podcasting empire; Josh Richards is the third titular "BFF."

Earlier this week, country singer Zach Bryan unceremoniously ended things with Brianna through the undignified medium of a public Instagram Story.

The way Zach worded his story – he said "Brianna and me [sic] have broken up with (each other)" – made it sound as if their split was mutual ... and then Brianna uploaded a video suggesting she was in the dark before he posted.

Brianna admitted that she was "blindsided," and the fact that she said that she thought her father had died due to the number of missed calls and texts she received lends credence to the possibility she found out about the breakup at the same time as everyone else.

On top of that, Zach and Brianna's split came on the heels of leaked screenshots from the invite-only dating app Raya, where Zach purportedly had an active profile prior to his announcement.

If the story stopped there, it would be a typical "TikTok star and random celebrity" breakup thing — but Brianna and Dave's podcast is called BFFs, and that's apparently for a good reason.

Dave Called Zach A 'Really Immature, Not Confident Baby'

And He Brought Receipts

After Dave's Eras Tour visit made headlines and after Brianna's breakup, Dave dedicated a song to Zach on Twitter/X: Taylor Swift's "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived."

As we mentioned earlier, Dave really is everywhere right now, and he spilled more tea on Thursday, during an Episode 34 of his The Unnamed Show podcast.

Dave's remarks on the subject of Zach began an hour and 17 minutes in:

In that portion, Dave starts by telling a story about attending a Super Bowl with Brianna, at which Zach was scheduled to perform at a pre-game event.

Dave recalled texting Brianna about meeting up to watch Zach's show, and told the story of the first time the country star rubbed him the wrong way:

"And I'm texting her, I'm like, 'hey Bri, what time are we meeting up to go' ... She's not getting back to me. Finally, she calls me [and] goes 'I, I don't know how to say this, I have bad news.'

"I'm like, what? She's like, 'Zach has banned you from going to the concert.' I'm like, what? Like banned for what?

"Apparently, Zach went back, how many months was it? It had to be maybe six months. We, at one time on BFFs, had a discussion where Bri just got a new boyfriend ..."

Dave continued, explaining that Zach "[went] back" to months-old episodes, and in one of them, Dave had commented on Brianna having a new boyfriend, and called her a "revolving door" of boyfriends — and because of it, Zach refused to admit her friends Dave and Josh to his show.

While telling that story, Dave indicated he had another anecdote which spoke to the nature of Zach's character, and how he treats romantic partners, and it was a pretty unpleasant tale.

According to Dave – who was only involved tangentially, and seemed to be purely angry on Brianna's behalf – Brianna had the opportunity to attend the Golden Globes, and was interviewed on the red carpet.

During that interview, Dave says, Brianna was asked about a male celebrity, and she said something positive — and in retaliation, Zach immediately unfollowed Brianna everywhere, and even blocked the BFFs podcast.

If Dave is remembering right, that is controlling and cruel behavior, particularly on an exciting night for Brianna, and Dave basically said as much:

Like, you insecure baby, like, she's on the ... like, the red carpet, being interviewed.

One of the other two people on the podcast, Kirk Minihane, chimed in, describing Zach's Golden Globes stunt as particularly alarming:

"Honestly, the first story is weird. The second story is way more damning, the Golden Globes.

"Like, that, that is ... like a Lifetime movie psychopath behavior."

Dave was recalled a third thing that didn't involve Brianna, adding that Zach "had his own dressing room, and his band was all smushed into this little one," which Dave thought was "weird."
