In addition to Michael Scott's antics, fans found comfort when it came to Pam and Jim's on-screen relationship, however, they weren't the only two lovebirds. Angela Kinsey and Rainn Wilson, who played Angela and Dwight in the hit series, also found themselves in a secret relationship for most of the series.
Although their romance came as more of a surprise to viewers, compared to Pam and Jim's obvious love for one another, it sparked a lot of questions as to whether or not the two also dated in real life. The big question re-surfaced following the news that Jennifer Anniston and David Schwimmer are allegedly dating.
During the Friends reunion, the duo revealed they'd had feelings for one another when they were filming as an on-screen couple, and now, with reports claiming the two are in a relationship, it's only fitting for The Office fans to wonder if the same situation applied to Angela and Rainn. Well, it didn't.
The Kissing Scenes Were 'Disgusting'
While we'd love to dish on their off-screen romance, Angela and Rainn never shared any form of romantic relationship off-screen. Considering the actress had just split from her ex-husband, and with Rainn Wilson being happily married since 1995, the two are simply great friends!
When it came to their kissing scenes, Angela Kinsey made it clear that those moments were quite "disgusting". During Angela's podcast alongside Jenna Fisher titled, The Office Ladies, Kinsey revealed that anytime she and Rainn's characters had a kissing scene, Wilson would always eat something gross beforehand! "I’d be like, ‘Rainn, dang it. Do you have to eat a tuna fish sandwich right before we’re supposed to kiss? Come on!’” Angela hilariously told Jenna.
Although the scenes weren't always so pleasant, Kinsey shared that the awkward stage soon become, well, not-so-awkward considering how close the two got off-screen. “Thank goodness over the years, though, you do become such good friends that it’s just like, OK, well, we’ll just do this really quickly," Angela shared.
