Daniel Radcliffe Didn't Wear A Wig, But Was Given Specific Instructions About His Hair During Harry Potter

Throughout the years, Daniel Radcliffe had some wild hairstyles during Harry Potter. Looking back, some of his styles don't even look like real hair, and a wig instead. However, that wasn't the case, and Radcliffe's hair was completely real. Though the actor was given specific instructions about his hair that he was none too pleased with.

Radcliffe revealed, "Every year when we left for the film, we finished the film, they said, don't cut your hair over the summer. We'll cut it when we get back, and we'll decide what we are going to do."

"Uh, so me and Rupert dutifully grew our hair for months, and then they came in and said, oh great."

This didn't sit well with Radcliffe who wasn't exactly comfortable with his hairstyle.

"I was like no, no, no. You're not leaving us like this. We're supposed to become teenagers and dating girls in this film. You can't, that's not what it's going to be, is it? So I think we were pretty devastated as we realized that it was. But still, I love the man," he said referring to the film's director.

Another fan appreciated how Radcliffe was able to distance himself from the role, "One thing I really appreciate about Daniel Radcliffe is that he has so thoroughly removed himself from Harry Potter as a Character and an actor. When I think of Emma Watson I still think of Hermione but Daniel Radcliffe has become his own man from the wild film choices he makes. Thats really commendable."

Radcliffe made his hairstyle work - however, there was another cast member who also hated their hair looking back at the film.

Emma Watson Wasn't Fond Of Her Hair In Harry Potter Either

Emma Watson has a regret about Harry Potter, and it is something most fans would not expect. Her hair... Watson is especially skeptical about her hair in the first film.

She said, looking back, "When I see the images of the first Harry Potter, I immediately think of how ugly my hair was."

Fans on Reddit discussed what Emma Watson regretted about Harry Potter. This time, fans didn't exactly agree with what the actress had to say. And some even pointed out that her hair in the first film was the best of all the looks.

The most liked comment reads, "She should regret how good her hair was in the other films, Hermione's hair was supposed to be bushy."

Another fan wrote, "I was hoping her hair would be a bit wilder and she would be plainer. That way when she attends the yule ball her transformation would be awesome. But instead it was just a pretty girl showing up in a pretty dress."

Clearly, fans have a different opinion on Watson's Harry Potter appearance throughout the years.
