Despite Their Feud, Diddy Repeatedly Claimed 50 Cent 'Loves Me'

Since Sean "Diddy" Combs was a music superstar for decades, a lot is known about him. Some notable examples of that are the fact that fans know Diddy has many children, that he has employed a lot of people, and that he is facing serious and disturbing allegations. It has also become well known that Diddy has a lot of famous friends and enemies.

Many observers would tell you that one of Diddy's most memorable enemies is 50 Cent. Despite that, Diddy once claimed repeatedly during a strange interview moment that 50 Cent loved him.

Easily one of the biggest radio shows in the world today, "The Breakfast Club" airs in a staggering number of markets. As a result, it was a big deal for Diddy when he appeared on "The Breakfast Club" in January 2018. Diddy's interview from that episode of "The Breakfast Club" can be seen in a YouTube upload of their conversation.

Unfortunately for Diddy, however, the interview likely became uncomfortable as he was confronted about saying "suspect" things in the past. For example, "The Breakfast Club's" crew played an audio clip of Diddy saying something completely out of context that sounded strange. "I like when you do it like that daddy. When you scrambling and scraping for s***."

The conversation then became even more uncomfortable in retrospect. The reason for that is audio of Diddy confronting someone for not partying with him was also played. "Why won't you party with me for your birthday, man? You ain't never really partied."

After that disturbing conversation about Diddy's past statements, the subject of 50 Cent came up.

More specifically, Diddy was asked about things that 50 Cent had said about him in the past. In response, Diddy quickly claimed that 50 Cent loved him.

Hey yo. I don't have no beef with 50. He loves me. He loves me.

Diddy would go on to continue addressing the status of his relationship with 50 Cent.

Throughout the history of "The Breakfast Club," the radio show's co-hosts, DJ Envy, Charlamagne tha God, and Jess Hilarious have gotten celebrities to say many noteworthy things.

According to hotnewhiphop.com, "The Breakfast Club" has featured many fantastic interviews over the years. That outlet claims that the best "The Breakfast Club" interviews included guests like Mo’Nique, Ray J, Kanye "Ye" West, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Mama, Onyx, and Soulja Boy.

Even with that in mind, it was amazing when Diddy continued to insist that 50 Cent loved him during his "The Breakfast Club" appearance.

"I mean, y'all can't see it. Y'all can't see that he loves me. Hold on, you really think that's hate? You really when you really break it down, you've been out here a long time. You know he loves me. You know he loves me."

Throughout Diddy's comments, "The Breakfast Club" co-host DJ Envy repeatedly disagreed with his remarks. For example, when Diddy asked the show's host if they really couldn't see 50 Cent loved him, DJ Envy responded by saying "No. We can't see it."

During Diddy's appearance on "The Breakfast Club," he was told that 50 Cent called him out when he appeared on the radio show. According to the show's hosts, 50 Cent complained to them that Diddy once tried to take him shopping. In response, Diddy stated that was true and explained that he was just trying to be generous. "Yeah, I thought he needed some clothes. What? I'm a nice guy. Yo."

Later, when Diddy was asking if the show's hosts really thought 50 Cent hated him, DJ Envy again made his opinion clear. "I don't think he likes [you]." However, DJ Envy suggested that Diddy and 50 Cent should get along since they were similar people. After just talking about 50 Cent loving him, Diddy instantly disagreed that they were similar people.

No. We are not. We are not the same. We are not cut from the same cloth.

Despite a comment like that, Diddy still wasn't done claiming that 50 Cent loved him.

Shortly after remarking about how different he is from 50 Cent, Diddy explained how he viewed their relationship.

During his "The Breakfast Club" interview, Diddy revealed that he didn't have anything to do with 50 Cent and that he wouldn't be calling him out. "I know he has a different sense of humor, and he's just not in my life. We don't have to never [sic] cross paths, and, I will never say nothing [sic] negative about him, you know, because that's just not me."

As Diddy explained during his "The Breakfast Club" appearance, he believed that someone hating him so much really was an indication they loved him. Diddy also seemed to clarify that he seriously believed that 50 Cent loved him.

"Sometimes people that feel like they don't like you and act like that, they really love you. Like I'm not just saying it to say, you know?"

While talking about his relationship with 50 Cent, Diddy said he prefers to lift other men up. Diddy then reflected out loud about why so many people have had issues with him.

"I guess I mean, it's something about me that has them on me all the time and I'm not going nowhere [sic]."

How 50 Cent Really Feels About Sean "Diddy" Combs

Throughout Diddy's comments about 50 Cent on "The Breakfast Club," the show's hosts disagreed with him. Instead, they repeatedly suggested that 50 Cent didn't like Diddy at all. With that in mind, it begs an obvious question: was Diddy right about 50 Cent loving him?

While Diddy's argument about love and hate is interesting, his overall point seems to be completely wrong. While it is impossible for observers to know what's in 50 Cent's heart, he really seems to hate Diddy.

In fact, 50 Cent has called out Diddy so many times over so many years that Forbes published an article about their feud in March 2024. When a financial magazine like Forbes is covering two celebrities hating each other, there is no denying that feud has reached epic proportions.

If it wasn't enough that Forbes took note of Diddy and 50 Cent's feud, Netflix did too. After all, Variety reported that Netflix bought a docuseries about the allegations Diddy is facing from 50 Cent's production company. According to unconfirmed reports, 50 Cent's docuseries will be titled Diddy Do It.

It is very hard to argue that 50 Cent loved Diddy when he sunk the time, effort, and money into producing that docuseries.
