Diddy Revealed To David Letterman That Michael Jackson Went To One Of His Infamous Parties

Throughout David Letterman's legendary career, he was considered one of the best talk show hosts which led to him becoming very rich. On top of being able to afford an incredible lifestyle, David got the chance to ask stars like Michael Jackson why they would do something like dangle their baby over a railing. David also got the chance to interview a major music superstar at that time, Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Before Diddy was facing disturbing allegations, talk show hosts like David wanted to know about things like his family and who his celebrity pals were. As a result of the interest in that topic, Diddy once told David that Michael Jackson once attended one of his scandalous parties.

As of 2024, it seems pretty clear that most celebrities want the world to forget any connections they might have to Sean "Diddy" Combs. Worse yet, given the disturbing allegations that have been made against him, it seems like virtually nobody wants the world to know they have attended a party thrown by Diddy.

However, the truth is that Diddy threw his now infamous parties for many years and an incredibly long list of famous people showed up. Over the years, Diddy has made a lot of talk show appearances during which he sometimes talked about stars who'd attended his parties.

For example, Diddy once talked about one of his parties when he was being interviewed by David Letterman. Looking back at that discussion, it is shocking to know that Diddy once told David that Michael Jackson showed up at one of his parties.

According to IMDb, Diddy made 15 appearances on Late Show with David Letterman between 1997 and 2010.

Considering the unique sense of humor that David was known for, it shouldn't surprise anyone that he got Diddy to open up during one of those appearances. David did that, as a YouTube video of their interaction shows, by showing Diddy and his audience a photo of the rapper with Michael Jackson.

After David took out the photo of Diddy and Michael, he asked the rapper where the picture was taken.

After telling David Letterman that Michael Jackson attended one of his parties, Diddy wasn't through. As a part of the aforementioned YouTube video shows, Diddy tried to convince David he could attend one of his parties, since Michael once did. "So, if he could come, you could you could've came [sic] to one of the parties."

In response, Diddy revealed that the photo was taken during one of his infamous parties that Michael attended.

That was taken maybe six years ago. [Michael] came to one of my parties.

Interestingly enough, Diddy went on to tell David that he actually didn't expect Michael to show up at the party.

While talking to David, Diddy described the moment he was told that Michael Jackson had shown up at his party.

That article looked at Michael's history with Lisa Marie Presley, Diana Ross, Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Rowe, Liza Minnelli, Macaulay Culkin, Tatum O'Neal, Cher, Brooke Shields, and Madonna.

According to what Diddy said to David, he initially found it hard to believe that Michael was at his party.

"So I'm in the party. I'm hosting them. You know, I'm being the hostess with the mostess and everything. And then, the security come up to me and say, 'Mister Combs, Mister Michael Jackson is here to see you.' I'm like, 'Get out of here.'"

Of course, most people would be surprised if Michael Jackson suddenly showed up at their party. However, Diddy wasn't most people. As a result, it is interesting that even Diddy seemed to be starstruck by Michael.

The reason why Diddy was able to throw star-studded parties was that he was so rich and successful. As a result, it seems clear that Diddy was used to having stars come to his parties to see him.

According to an article from The Root, Sean "Diddy" Combs signed a slew of different music superstars over the years. Those artists include names like The Notorious B.I.G., Craig Mack, Ma$e, 112, Cassie, Danity Kane, Faith Evans, and New Edition.

However, according to what Diddy told David, Michael came to the party because he wanted to see someone else. Diddy told David that after he sat down to talk with Michael, the pop music icon quickly made it clear he was there for Beyoncé.

"I find Mike. I'm like, Mike, 'What's up? What you're doing here? Thanks for coming.' We start chit chatting... He whispers in my ear. He says, 'Where's Beyonce?' Really? Really?"

Diddy finished his story about Michael showing up at the party by saying the "King of Pop" actually was there because he was interested in Beyoncé. Not only that, Diddy told David that Michael had moves.

He came to the party to holler at Beyoncé, finds her, and dances with Beyoncé... Mike was smooth.

Sean "Diddy" Combs And Michael Jackson Had Another Fascinating Connection

Based on what Sean "Diddy" Combs once told David Letterman, he partied with Michael Jackson once. Aside from that, it doesn't appear that the two famous music stars were close. Despite that, it appears that Michael and Diddy put their trust in the same person.

In October 2024, The Daily Mail published an article that revealed that Diddy and Michael had the same head of security. According to the outlet, both men employed a man named Faheem Muhammad to keep them safe.

The Daily Mail reported that Faheem started out as Michael's driver before he was promoted to bodyguard. Finally, Faheem reportedly was running Michael's security operation at the time of the pop music icon's passing. That resulted in Faheem being called to testify during the manslaughter trial of Michael's former doctor, Conrad Murray.

While the above photos don't show Faheem, they do reveal that Diddy and Michael both took their security seriously. According to The Daily Mail's article, Diddy hired Faheem to head his security team after Michael passed away.

The outlet stated that when the rapper Lil Rod sued Diddy, he claimed that Diddy made threats involving Faheem. "Mr. Combs made it clear that his head of security, Faheem Muhammad had the power to make people and problems disappear."
