Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bündchen have had quite the time being parents and learning from each other, not only as husband and wife, but as a family. What were some of the struggles they've faced together? And is it important for them to keep their children aware of their privileges while also maintaining humility in them? Also, do the children have a private chef?
How Did Tom Brady And Gisele Bündchen Meet?
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen met each other through a mutual friend in 2006 and have been an item ever since. The couple seemed to be madly in love even in the early ears of their relationship. In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2009, Gisele relayed how she was head over heels for him since day one.
She was quoted saying, "The moment I saw him, he smiled, and I was like, ‘That is the most beautiful, charismatic smile I’ve ever seen!’ We sat and talked for three hours. I had to go home for Christmas, but I didn’t want to leave. You know that feeling of, like, you can’t get enough? From the first day we met, we’ve never spent one day without speaking to each other.”
It seems as though it was love at first sight. They got married in February 2009 and had their first child, a son they named Benjamin, in December of that same year. Three years later, in December 2012, they welcomed their daughter Vivian.
Tom Brady And Gisele Bündchen Do Have A Private Chef For The Kids With A Specific Diet
Both Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen came from humble beginnings before finding their fame and fortune doing what they love.
“My wife grew up in rural Brazil, the farthest state south, Rio Grande do Sul, [a] very small kind of farming town, very simple girl. There are two bedrooms in their house — one for their parents and one for her and her five sisters.”
He continued, “I grew up in, I would say, a middle-class family in California, my dad worked his a** off for our family. My mom stayed at home [and] took care of us kids and I saw my mom work every day to make food for us at night and wash our clothes, and now they supported us by coming to all our games, and it was amazing, and then I look at my life with my family and it's so fast.”
Brady looks back on how quickly the time has gone from when he was a child to the time he's now spending with his own children. “I think we can try to create experiences that are more along the lines of what most kids go through even though they will still have experiences that a lot of kids never do have.”
One of those extravagant experiences is having a personal chef. Allen Campbell has the family on a highly restricted diet, which contains 80% vegetables. This regiment requires that the family must never consume white sugar, flour, coffee, dairy, gluten, non-organic produce, and iodized salt. Yeesh.
Divorce Rumors Spread As Tom Brady Comes Out Of Retirement
Even with all the love they have for each other and their kids, there might be some trouble in paradise. Recently, Tom Brady announced his plans to un-retire from the NFL.
On his social media, he was quoted saying, "These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”
It has been reported that this decision has put a strain on his marriage with Gisele. So much so, in fact, that a source close to them has disclosed to US Magazine that she has left their family home in Tampa Bay and went to go stay in Costa Rica.
During training season in August, Brady had to take a leave of absence in order to take care of some "personal" matters and only returned after 11 days of missed practice.
Neither party has commented on the situation so far, however, there have been rumors that Gisele wanted him home with the family and is tired of him choosing his career over her and their children. There's even been whispers that this decision could lead to a divorce. Only time will tell.
