When Drake moved into a home that is located in the gated community known as Hidden Hills, California, his neighbors may have been excited to meet a celebrity. Whether there initially was excitement in the area or not, at least one of Drake's neighbors seemingly came to dislike his presence.

In 2015, Drake made a guest appearance on Future's song "Where Ya At". In the song, Drake can be heard rapping the lyrics “I’ll buy the neighbor’s house if they complain about the noise”. Then, only months later, trulia.com reported that Drake had indeed bought his neighbor's home.

At the same time, nationalpost.com reported that Drake "allegedly bought the property so he’d no longer have to worry about noise complaints, after having received plenty since moving into the neighbourhood."

Assuming the reports about Drake's reason for buying his neighbor's home are accurate, it is amazing to know how much the purchase cost. According to that same National Post reports, Drake paid $2.85 million.

No matter what Drake's reason for buying his neighbor's home was, at least it sounds impressive based on trulia.com's description.

"Drake’s new property, built in 1955, is a charming ranch-style house tucked away on a peaceful cul-de-sac. Located on 1 acre, the 4,445-square-foot four-bedroom, five-bathroom home is the perfect cozy complement to the 7,444-square-foot home next door."

"An open floor plan, hardwood floors, and high ceilings are the ultimate example of California cool, while multiple fireplaces and a top-of-the-line gourmet kitchen make this the type of home friends will want to hang out in."

"Outside, there’s a spacious front yard and a cozy, secluded backyard with a swimming pool and 800-square-foot guesthouse, as well as a small pool house." "There’s even room for horses,"

Despite how impressive that description is, it turns out that Drake eventually decided it was time to move on from his neighbor's home and the surrounding area.

Where Does Drake Live Now?

After Drake bought his second Hidden Hills home, the beloved rapper actually purchased a third adjoining property. With that in mind, it certainly seemed like Drake was determined to call Hidden Hills his home for many years.

First off, Drake started by putting all of his Hidden Hills properties on the market and he quickly sold two of them to football player Matthew Stafford. Drake then purchased a huge Beverly Hills mansion from the British pop star Robbie Williams for $75 million.

According to reports, Drake's new main home has 10 bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, and is 25,000 square feet in size.
