Everyone loves a good frenemy or bromance relationship among A-list celebs. 8 Creepy Crawlies
This time around, Johnson wanted to take it old school. It is hard to find a prank funnier and more entertaining than the classic: fake creepy crawlies that take the victim off-guard. As if it were icing on the cake, Dwayne pulled this joke on Kevin as they were getting ready to call “action,” which allowed for them to be in an environment that fit seeing a big spider. 6 Little Kevin
Between these two frenemies, there have been countless jokes posted on each other’s Instagram accounts. One of the trending pranks that The Rock would frequently indulge in is posting pictures of baby Kevin. While their height difference is already borderline comical, Johnson takes it to new levels by using photoshopped pictures of little kids or babies with Hart’s face plastered over the original. Dwayne has taken to calling him “son,” just to add a cherry on top.
5 Little Dwayne
Hart finally had enough of being condemned to a life as Dwayne Johnson’s son, so he took matters into his own hands. Kevin dished out the pranks he had been receiving on Instagram by retaliating. Hart came across a photo of The Rock that had been photoshopped in such a way that made him larger than his typically much taller, beefier friend.
4 Honky Pete
Hold onto your hats for this one. Dwayne Johnson pulled a prank on Kevin live during an interview, seemingly right off the cuff. When the interviewer asked about a superhero squad for the main cast of Jumanji, including Karen Gillan and Jack Black, Dwayne quickly chimed in with his superhero name idea for Kevin. We may never know where the name “Honky Pete” came from, but we are forever grateful for this hilarious joke.
3 Live Trolling
While this event leans more on the side of trolling than pranking, we knew it had to be included. Kevin Hart took to live streaming on his Instagram account to talk with fans and answer some questions. Little did he know, more than just fans would be joining to write live messages to him. Dwayne saw the opportunity to publicly troll his buddy and did not hesitate to complete the task.
2 Hollywood Walk of Fame
Hart had an opportunity arise that allowed him to prank Johnson with a congratulations to get him back. This time around, however, he diverted from the jump-scare humor and went with a classic public post. In celebration of The Rock getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kevin offered him congrats while also calling him out.
1 Slithering Surprise
To bring the pranks full circle, Johnson took to using the set of Jumanji to his advantage once more. Amidst his list of jokes and gags, he decided to go with another classic. Feeding into Kevin’s natural fear of creepy bugs and slithery snakes, The Rock grabbed a long, flexible rod from set that bent a lot like a snake’s body and gave Hart’s leg a little slither.
