Emma's MET Dress Is The First Look At Her Wedding

Emma married Saturday Night Live director Dave McCrary in 2020. Though it’s been two years since their nuptials, not much is known about their wedding, including what Emma’s main gown looked like. Her MET Gala outfit is the first peek fans have had into her wedding.

According to Us Weekly, Emma and Dave knew each other for several years before their romance was confirmed in 2017. They became engaged in 2019. The couple’s marriage was only confirmed after they were seen out and about with wedding bands.

A year after their nuptials, Emma and Dave welcomed their first child together. The Easy A star’s pregnancy was confirmed in January before their daughter’s arrival in March. The new parents have yet to release images of their infant or confirm her name.

"She seems very happy and very excited about becoming a mother — she's constantly oohing and cooing," a source told Us when Emma’s pregnancy news broke. "She looks great, she looks healthy, she's glowing,” the insider continued. “She's been keeping up with friends and work lately, she's always staying active and gets her daily exercise in."

Emma’s MET Gala look may have been the most sentimental, but it wasn’t the only one that’s gotten people buzzing.

Kim Kardashian lit up the red carpet (alongside her beau Pete Davidson) in a sparkling dress that was previously worn by Marilyn Monroe. The SKIMS founder admitted she had to lose 16 pounds to fit into the gown.

Kim’s younger sister Kylie Jenner made waves in an all-white ball gown accessorized with a matching baseball cap and veil. The makeup mogul revealed on social media the daring look was a tribute to designer Virgil Abloh, who passed away last year.
