Shanna Moakler has been in the spotlight lately for all of the wrong reasons. It seems that she and her children can't get on the same page, and there's an obvious and evident divide that is preventing this family from getting along. Most families prefer to keept their issues under wraps and try to handle things behind closed doors, but Shanna Moakler's family drama is spiraling way out of control, and as US Weekly reports, it's all unfolding on social media in front of fans, followers, and critics alike.
The train wreck of a relationship that Moakler currently has with her children can barely be called a "relationship" at all, and as she shares custody with Blink-182 star and the newly crowned fiance of Kourtney Kardashian, things seem to be getting progressively worse.
8 Her Children Don't Support Her New Relationship
After Shanna and Travis split, she re-entered the dating game and has been involved in a very on-again, off-again relationship wtih Matthew Rondeau. While for the most part Shanna seems to be happy with her arrangement with Matthew, her children are definitely not on the same page. They don't support their mom's relationship to the degree that Shanna's son, Landon, posted on Instagram to declare that his mother can "do better," then went on to call Travis and Kourtney's relationship "true love."
7 Shanna Moakler's Daughter Threw Shade
If Shanna thought she would find some support when looking in her daughter's direction, she was wrong there, too. Just a month after Landon roasted his mom's relationship with Rondeau, her daughter, Alabama Barker, posted a lip sync video to TikTok which featured her lip syncing to the song "The Letter" by Kehlani.
The lyrics didn't need any deciphering, as she mouthed along to the words; "... and every girl needs a mother, and damn it I needed you, instead you dug for cover, and you ran from the truth..." Clearly throwing shade at her mom, Alabama put the world on notice, revealing that things were not ok with their relationship.
6 She's Been Absent From The Daily Lives Of Alabama And Landon Barker
There's no denying or concealing the fact that things are not as they should be between Shanna and her children. As much as she tries to deny that there are deep rooted issues when it comes to the breakdown with her relationship with her kids, they speak for themselves on social media and tell the tale she refuses to admit to. In May of this year, Landon took to Instagram to state that his mother is definitely "not in their lives" like their dad is. On the other hand, Travis Barker's social media page is flooded with images of his kids and the bond they share is evident.
5 Alabama Barker Alluded To Cutting Her Mom Off
Relationships between teenage girls and their moms can often become strained, but there is something severely out of alignment between Alabama and Shanna. Alabama has wasted no time putting her issues with her mother on blast by expressing her emotions on her social media channels. At one point she posted a message that stated; "I cut off family too. They do you the dirtiest," and it was obvious that this not-so-cryptic message was a direct dig at Shanna. It became clear that Alabama had cut her off and wants no ties with her mom.
4 Shanna Blames Her Own Kids
Things have become so heated between Shanna and her children that she has recently resorted to blaming her own children for the breakdown in their relationship. In a swiift move that quickly dismissed their feelings and any blame on her part, she indicated that her kids were making 'false statements' on social media and went on to say; "I’m not really sure why my kids put that out there. I’m their mother. I love them. It’s hurtful and heartbreaking to have your kids say that. ... I feel like, as teenagers, they do rebel and say things sometimes they don’t mean. As a mother ... I'll always be there for my children, no matter what. I love them. I understand that we all have growing pains.”
3 They're No Longer On Speaking Terms
If it's true that communication is the way to mending any wounded relationship, Shanna and her children sadly have a very long way to go. Stylecaster reports that this past summer it became evident that Moakler and her children are not even on speaking terms with one another. Shanna admited that they're all "taking time to heal" and hopes that they will find their way back to one another again, calling the situation, "sad" and "emotional."

When discussions about her strained relationships rise to the surface, Shanna puts a lot of the blame on the Kardashian family, and clearly, she is not a fan. She has accused Kim of having an affair with Travis when she was still married to him, and of course, she has taken aim at Kourtney. Now that Kourtney is a permanent fixture Travis' life, Shanna has blamed her for coming between her and her own children, and she faults the entire Kardashian clan for turning her kids against her.
1 She Deleted Photos Of Her Own Kids Out Of Jealousy
When Travis popped the big question and asked Kourtney to marry him, Shanna Moakler's children were presesnt, and they blasted their excitement over this news on social media. Of course, Shanna blew a fuse when she realized her kids were part of this moment, and in a fit of furious rage and jealousy, she did everything she could to scratch her own children out of her life, including deleting all their images from her social media page. Shanna has removed all photos of her children from her online profiles and seems to have scrubbed everyone right out of her life.
