When Andy was eight years old, he discovered Saturday Night Live. He saw his parents watching it late at night when he would be trying to sneak past them to watch wrestling on TV. He was hooked from the very beginning, as he became obsessed with the show, and he tried so hard to be funny like those on the show.

16 He Loved Creative Writing Growing Up

With their digital shorts gaining a lot of momentum and attention online, Andy and the rest of The Lonely Island were given the opportunity of a lifetime. In 2005, the three of them were invited by MTV — who loved their online content — to write for the MTV Movie Awards that year.
