And 2023 is likely to be a big year for celebrity nuptials, too. There are tons of famous faces who got engaged last year, or who’ve been planning their wedding for several years. Likewise, there are a number of long-term couples who’ve been plagued by engagement and wedding rumors forever. Below, we look at the 10 celebrity couples who are most likely to say ‘I do’ in 2023.
10 Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly popped the question to Megan Fox in January 2022, and many fans thought the couple would rush down the aisle the same year given their whirlwind romance. Alas, the year came and went without the pair making their union official.
Megan and Machine Gun are still engaged, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they say ‘I do’ sometime this year. In fact, it seems to be on Machine Gun’s mind. In January 2023, the singer posted a throwback clip from their engagement to celebrate the year anniversary.
"One year ago, under a banyan tree," he wrote on his Instagram story, alongside a video of him putting the engagement ring on Megan’s finger.
"I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love," he previously said of the unique engagement ring.
9 Taylor Swift & Joe Alwyn
Taylor Swift’s romantic life remains a big source of speculation. She’s been dating British actor Joe Alwyn since 2016, and though the couple have been plagued by engagement rumors, they’ve yet to make anything official.
Given how long they’ve been together, it wouldn’t be surprising if 2023 was finally the year they tied the knot. But given their private nature, it also wouldn’t be surprising if they didn’t tell the world about an engagement or wedding until after the fact.

The High School Musical actress has had many famous boyfriends over the years, but she may have found the one with professional baseball shortstop Cole Tucker. The pair have been dating since 2021, and regularly display their PDA on social media.
“He’s just kind of perfect for me. I am [happy],” Vanessa has said of her beau. “I really am. I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”
Based on her comments, Vanessa is clearly in love, so she may be walking down the aisle in the near future.

It was confirmed that Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton were engaged in March 2022, though she was spotted wearing a diamond on her ring finger the year prior. The couple announced they were expecting a child a few months later, and Zawe to give birth in October.
Tom and Zawe are notoriously private about their romance, so while they are a likely couple to tie the knot in 2023, they probably won’t confirm their union until after the fact.

Kate Hudson may be walking down the aisle for the third time in 2023. She’s been engaged to musician Danny Fujikawa since 2021, and the couple already share a 4-year-old daughter. This edgy couple got engaged in Paris in April 2022, and haven’t been shy to express their feelings for one another.
"It was the most perfect, romantic proposal I could ever ask for,” Avril told People of the proposal. “We were in Paris on a boat in the Seine River. We had a violin player, champagne and roses. It felt like time stood still, and it was just the two of us in the moment.”
Though they haven’t confirmed when they’re planning a wedding for, it could very well be for this year.

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse have been together since 2018, and engagement rumors have been following the couple for years.
In 2020, a source told E! News that the couple had discussed getting married and were on the same page about it, though they didn’t have a specific timeline.
"Rob and Suki have definitely discussed getting engaged but are in no rush. Suki is not pressuring him and they are both very committed to each other,” they insider said, adding they are “truly inseparable and in love.”

Another couple that got engaged in 2022 was Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge. The pair knew each other for years before things turned romantic, and now they’re in the midst of planning their nuptials.
In December, Sofia made a post to Instagram showing herself working out. “This week on getting snatched for me (sic) wedding (lol),” she wrote in the post. Given that Sofia is already preparing to look and feel her best for the wedding day, it’s safe to assume it’s coming up quick.

Josh Duhamel started the new year off on a high note after he popped the question to former Miss World America Audra Mari in January 2023. “It's on!! She found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said YES!!” the actor captioned an Instagram post celebrating their engagement.
It's speculated that the couple are planning their wedding, and assuming they don’t want a long engagement, it may take place this year.
1 Kate Walsh & Andrew Nixon
Kate Walsh and Andrew Nixon didn’t plan to tell the world they were engaged when the Grey’s Anatomy actress accidentally let the happy news slip in an Instagram Live last year.
The pair are known to be private, so they may not share that they’re married until after the fact. Or, given her history, Kate may accidentally spill the details on Instagram (if fans are so lucky).
