After 18 years of marriage, five children, 23 cows, 21 goats, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 roosters, 2 bunnies, a turkey, a horse, a guinea pig, and endless amounts of chickens, it is safe to say they are bound for life.

On top of all that, they run a business together flipping houses in Waco, Texas. They are hosts of the hit show, Fixer Upper, on HGTV. Fixer Upper ended in 2018 after five seasons, but the couple missed the show... and so did its fans.

Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, will premiere on the Magnolia Network, Chip and Joanna's new television network they launched.

It is almost guaranteed that things get a little crazy in the Gaines' household. Juggling all of these things at once takes a village!

Divorce Is Not An Option

“One thing I would say is our superpower is that Jo and I are not quitters,” Chip said when asked if the two ever considered “throwing in the towel” during their marriage. “Throwing in the towel is not something that ever comes to mind.” He added, “I would say that happened pretty early in our relationship where we just thought that divorce, or leaving one another, is not really an option for us.”

Relationships are challenging, but the foundation these two have built with one another will surely last a lifetime. No amount of disagreements or disputes can break this dynamic duo up.

Fans of the show were worried about these two since they love them both so much. Luckily, the couple has confirmed that they are not going anywhere!

In addition to launching the Magnolia Network and headlining Fixer Upper, the two opened up Magnolia Market at the Silos, they have a magazine called, Magnolia Journal, and a published book, The Magnolia Story.

In their book, Joanna explained that the duo, “function better together.” She wrote, “We seem to give each other energy. We function better together than we do apart, and I don’t think either one of us has ever felt the urge to say, ‘I need a break from you.'” She continued, “Don’t get me wrong, we’ve certainly had our share of disappointments and arguments, but we just always wanted to tackle our issues together.”

Stay tuned for Fixer Upper: Welcome Home premiere on Discovery+ on January 29, 2021.
