Where do you even start? Gross moments and The Howard Stern Show have gone hand-in-hand ever since the self-proclaimed King Of All media came screaming onto the airwaves in the late 1970s. So, how do you pick the most disgusting? Nowadays, Howard has evolved into a first-class celebrity interviewer. While he keeps some of his wildly hilarious and inappropriate staff antics for his die-hard fanbase, he's calmed sustainably since his days as a shock jock. Some fans have abandoned Howard for this reason, but most have stayed with the radio legend. They know Howard has always been quite tame in his personal life and did most of his most shocking things on the radio for entertainment and to stir things up with his corporate overlords and the censors. He even banned one of his staffers from his house for taking on-air behavior into his personal life. But Howard's show still allows for the occasional gross moment.

Whether it's phone calls from fans, overly revealing personal stories from Howard, his co-host Robin Quivers and his staffers, or straight-up pranks, there's no shortage of gross moments to pick from in Howard history. For this article, we will be focusing on what fans on Reddit and the overall internet claim were the grossest bits versus revelations during interviews or phone calls. Specifically, we will be talking about the moment that always shows up at the top of everyone's list. Be warned... this is straight-up gross and some could see it as offensive. Although, Howard Stern fans likely don't care. Let's take a look...

The Runners-Up To The Grossest Moment In Stern Show History

Every time Richard Christie or Sal Governale come on to the show, they usually offer a disgusting anecdote. In the case of Richard, he is known for being one of the most unhygienic (yet uncomfortably polite) humans on Earth. But his subway stories, childhood growing up on a rural farm in Kansas, and time living in a storage facility usually offer a ton of gross-out moments. Both Richard and Sal have also been involved in the show's most revolting stunts. They're usually naked. And they're usually doing something that would make their parents cringe hard. So, it's really no surprise that they ended up being featured on The Stern Show's recent 'Grossest Week Ever' special on Howard 101 on SiriusXM.

Many on Reddit claim that what Richard did with Sal in order to get tickets to Metallica was the grossest thing ever on The Howard Stern Show as well as the bit that Richard did with Sarah Silverman.

Howard Stern's employee Wolfie is the king of conventions and has done some of the most eye-opening bits about real-life gatherings. On many Reddit lists, the Bronie-Con event has come up as the grossest as has the Water Of Life Convention and Ball Bash, but it's usually Fist Fest (we won't say any more on that) that is seen as the grossest. In fact, it's so icky that we can't even give you more details on it.

Additionally, members of Howard Stern's Wack Pack were also heavily featured on their recent 'Grossest Week Ever' special. In particular, Jeff The Vomit Guy, who has an attraction to... well... you guessed it, and Will The Farter, who has an incredible talent to pass wind on command. If that sounds stupid, it is... but it's also utterly impressive... and simultaneously disgusting. Especially when he did it in High Pitch Erik's face in order for Erik to win a prize.

But even Richard Christie can't take Jeff The Vomit Guy. In a recent Howard 101 interview, Richard claimed that Jeff The Vomit Guy has the worst smell of any Wack Pack member... and that's a big statement coming from a man who brushed his teeth with a used towel and often fails to make it to the toilet to go to the bathroom. Producer Gary Dell'Abate also has a hard time with Jeff, and these segments tend to be the grossest.

However, it was a contest on The Stern Show that most fans think was the grossest.

The Contest That Made A Lot Of People Turn Off Their Radios

While we can't get into the gritty details here, the name of the contest should give you a clear indicator of why fans on Youtube and Reddit say this was the grossest moment in Stern Show History... And that's The Biggest Hemorrhoid Contest. While The Stern Show usually isn't a visual medium, they made sure to air this segment unedited on Howard TV back in the early 2000s when Howard was far 'grosser' than he is today.

While the contest was totally over-the-top and not for many people, it actually was for a good cause. Not only were their doctors involved giving sound medical advice for the common medical problem, but money was also raised.

Regardless, this Howard Stern Show event was downright revolting to listen to let alone watch.
