Though he's made plenty of headlines for his not-so-friendly departure from the MCU, Terrence Howard has clearly moved on. While he may not be happy about how his time as James Rhodes ended, the actor has a lot of other projects on his plate.

For one thing, he's earned a cool $10 million for a single TV role in the years since 'Iron Man.' But although his career hasn't been significantly impacted by his tumultuous history in the spotlight, fans are concerned about Terrence these days.

Fans Have Been Worried About Terrence Howard

Fans have been concerned about Terrence Howard for some time now. In fact, it started years ago, around the time that Howard had an interview with Rolling Stone. In that interview, he talked about a lot of different things, but all of it made fans a bit uncomfortable.

First off, Terrence admitted that he took the role of Lucious Lyon on 'Empire' because "[people] see me as a bad guy." His reasoning was that he may as well indulge critics in their judgment of him since there's also a creative (and monetary) payoff.

His past, which includes various charges of violence brought against him by former partners and even a flight attendant, explains why people think of Howard as a villain. But he claims to be simply misunderstood.

Terrence Howard Has A Unique Hobby

In that same Rolling Stone interview, the interviewer tracked the contradictions Howard himself made throughout their conversation. He would say one thing, then change up his stance later, and some of what he had to say was a bit awkward.

For one thing, Howard has taken out a patent on structures he's created that purportedly center on "the classical and quantum waveform field lattice of fundamental absolute space time itself," according to his Instagram.

And in that interview? Terrence stated things like, "Twenty years from now, [his kids] know that one times one equals two. We’re about to show a new truth."

The structures that he's created, he says, are his "proof"; "I have created the pieces that make up the motion of the universe. We work on them about 17 hours a day. [His wife] cuts and puts on the crystals. I do the main work of soldering them together. They tell the truth from within.”

Fans Say Terrence Howard's Current Path Is Concerning

Fans say that Howard's statements are downright scary, suggesting that he is struggling with his mental health. One commenter suggested that, after reading direct quotes from Terrence, "it's pretty clear he's got a couple of screws loose."

Another commenter noted, "The writer tries, but Terrence Howard comes off so badly in this article." And finally, one Redditor summed up what most seem to be thinking: "he is one strange dude."

He seems to have earned a following for his 'creations,' so who knows where the project will take him. Meanwhile, fans look on in complete confusion.
