She has everything that a person could want in a character, and being a strong female lead has helped her become more than just another passing character. This particular entry stems from the earlier films, and we still just can’t wrap our heads around it. Dom is exceptionally flirty with the other women that show up to the races, and despite this, Letty just lets it slide and lets Dom do his thing before hitting the track.
14 Letty Was Abandoned In The Dominican Republic For No Reason
Many people were surprised to see this happen in the films, and we still just don’t understand why this was a thing, especially seeing how things played out in the long run. Letty being left all the way in the Dominican Republic was something that the filmmakers should have just avoided entirely.
13 Letty Taking Dom Back After He Abandoned Elena
Again, this made no sense and we still don’t understand what the point of the whole thing was. After Letty is out of the picture, Dom moves on and strikes up a romance with Elena. However, Letty returns and Dom just up and leaves for Letty, who lets him back without a peep.
12 Letty Being In The U.K. For No Apparent Reason
So, after Letty reemerges, fans learn that she had spent a considerable amount of time in the U.K., and we just don’t get this one. Why in the world would she choose the U.K. of all places? It’s not like she has anything of interest that would keep her there for a considerable period of time.

This was something that was just used as a simple fix to an odd situation and we just aren’t buying it. Letty returning back to the fold after people thought that she was gone forever was interesting, to an extent, but she chose to stay away because she had amnesia. Which makes little sense.

Imagine having an automatic car with a clutch that can burn rubber on the road. Do you know why it's hard to imagine? It’s because it makes no sense in the slightest. Well, it’s a good thing that Letty mysteriously has one of the rides and can drive it like there’s no tomorrow!
9 Letty Beating Kara In A Fight With No Training
Where do we even begin on this one? Letty is a small-time crook and street racer. That’s literally it. Somehow, someway, she turns into an indestructible force that can go toe-to-toe with trained combat experts and live to tell the tale. This is nonsense and really hard to sit through.
8 Letty And Dom Don’t Have A Kid, But Dom Has One With Elena In A No Time
Dom and Letty have been together since childhood, and considering the entire franchise is annoyingly based around the concept of family (despite everyone being genuinely terrible and a bunch of criminals), Letty and Dom still don’t have a child. Yet, he up and had one with Elena in no time.
7 Letty Survived An Explosion Because Apparently She’s Wonder Woman
Yes, this is something that happened, and we still cannot wrap our heads around this. Letty is basically invulnerable to anything that comes her way at this point, and this was evident in the fact that she literally survived a massive explosion. This is like Arya Stark surviving in season 8 of Game of Thrones.
6 Letty Survives A Fire, Despite Someone Claiming Otherwise
Remember when the characters and the audience alike found out that Letty had been taken out in the fire because someone literally said that they saw her burn? Yeah, well that was apparently not the case. She somehow made her way out and was able to start a new life.
