While some people may not have blamed Clooney for the film’s failure at the time since he only played a supporting role in the film, he worked on the movie behind the scenes too. After all, Clooney produced Welcome to Collinwood as well. Filmed for $12 million according to IMDb, Welcome to Collinwood brought in just over $4 million at the worldwide box office.

Unfortunately for Clooney and Netflix, however, virtually nobody seemed to take notice when The Midnight Sky was released on the streaming service. However, when it comes to 2006’s The Good German, the movie was such a massive failure that it must have shocked the duo completely.
