Both Gigi and Khai’s father, Zayn Malik, are protective of their toddler and have only shared a few images of her over the years, though none have shown Khai’s face. However, both parents made emotional tributes to their daughter on social media that gave an inside glimpse into their lives as Khai’s co-parents.
"Have been celebrating our THREE YR OLD this week & just so honored to get to be her mama, to get to see life through her !!!! Happy Birthday to my sweetest, smartest, spunkiest bestie !!!!!!!! DREAM KID / love of my life," Gigi wrote via Instagram.
She followed the passionate caption up with a variety of photos showing how she celebrated Khai’s birthday recently.
Gigi’s post began with an image capturing Khai's birthday-themed breakfast, featuring waffles adorned with flickering candles and a slice of vibrant rainbow cake. The model then shared a subsequent image showcasing Khai's enchanting Frozen and autumn-inspired cake, which she noted was crafted by Carlo's Bakery.
Gigi also added a photograph of herself cuddling Khai as a newborn, before sharing snapshots of a beach day Gigi had with her daughter, where the duo played on the sandy shores.

For now, it’s unclear if Khai is joining her mother in Milan, Italy for fashion week, or if the toddler is staying behind in the U.S. where Gigi and Zayn co-parent her full-time.
Zayn also made a heartfelt tribute to his only child on Instagram to mark her third birthday. “Happy birthday to my everything, you are the most amazing soul I’ve ever known,” the former One Direction crooner wrote in the caption. “Every day I get with you is a blessing that I cherish beyond words.”
