The Sun reported that when Ramsay was awarded 3 Michelin stars, Tana Ramsay purchased a Ferrari 550 Maranello as a celebratory gift.
Ramsay also has a Land Rover Defender and people think that he paid £245,000 for it.
Ramsay said that when he was younger he thought it would be great to have a Ferarri. He said, "I am very fortunate to have one now. Having the privilege to drive on the track in my LaFerrari Aperta and experiencing not just the thrill and the perfection, but the control I have makes me feel on top of the world. I grip the wheel, push the button; then that unmistakable sound," according to The Sun.
Ramsay definitely seems to appreciate being able to own his cars. When asked about his "three most important things" in his interview with Celebre Magazine, Ramsay said, “My family. My clients. My Ferraris."
Gordon Ramsay Spent £150,000 On His Reality Show Future Food Stars
Gordon Ramsay even paid for one of his reality shows himself. According to The Sun, he decided that whoever won his show Future Food Stars would be given £150,000 of his money.
Future Food Stars aired on BBC in 2022. The show had 12 cast members who were trying to show Ramsay that they had what it took to start their own food business. Ramsay would then give them the money so they could go into business. And he would be there along to way to talk to them about anything that came up.
Variety reported that North American audiences can watch Future Food Stars on Fox starting on May 24th, 2023. As Gordon Ramsay explained in an interview with Variety, he was trying to nuture foodies on the show.
Ramsay said, “I’ve hand-picked some of the most promising culinary innovators to compete for not only my investment, but my partnership in business. They will have to hustle through tough challenges, break through and set themselves apart from the other competition, and make noise to prove they have what it takes to be successful.”
