By now almost everyone knows that there will be a Gossip Girl reboot premiering soon! We can hardly wait and we are just so impatient for it. The reboot is going to focus on new characters that live in the same world that Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald, and Dan Humphrey lived in. It is a good thing that they are starting over with new character because filling the shoes of Blake Lively or Leighton Meester is a challenge no one can stand up to!
The original Gossip Girl show included two very serious romances for us to watch unfold over six epic and amazing seasons. Those two romances were between Serena and Dan, and Chuck and Blair. Our argument is that the intensely passionate relationship between Chuck and Blair was way better!
15 Chuck Rigged Senior Prom In Blair's Favor
One of the sweetest things that Chuck Bass did for Blair Waldorf was rig her senior prom so that she would win the Prom Queen title. Even though Nate Archibald was her date, Chuck still wanted her to be as happy as she could possibly be on that day because he knew how important it was to her. Sounds like true love to us!
14 Blair And Chuck Knew Exactly How To Scheme Together
Whenever Chuck and Blair got together to do some scheming, things always worked out for them in the most clean-cut and flawless ways. It is as if they worked better whenever they were together. When they came up with separate schemes, they were still usually just fine, but scheming together was where they thrived the most.
13 Chuck Crashed A Royal Wedding For Blair
When Blair was going to walk down the aisle to a man who was clearly not right for her at all, what did Chuck do in response? He crashed the wedding! It wasn't just some small, little, simple wedding either. It was a giant, exquisite, crowded, royal wedding. Chuck bravely stepped forward to speak up on his feelings.
12 The First Time Chuck Said "I Love You" Was Epic
The first time Chuck told Blair he loved her, the Earth nearly stopped spinning. Who even remembers the first time that Dan and Serena swapped 'I love you's with each other? Chuck took forever to finally admit that he loved Blair but by the time he finally did, we were here for it, all the way!
11 Chuck Was Willing To Accept Blair's Baby As His Own
One of the biggest and most heartfelt things that Chuck was willing to do for Blair was accepting her unborn child as his own, whether that child was his by blood or not. A lot of guys would run for the hills if the girl they cared about was pregnant with another guy's baby, but not Chuck Bass.
10 Blair Was By Chuck's Side While He Mourned The Loss Of His Father
When Chuck was going through the process of losing her father, Bart Bass, who was there for him the entire time? Blair! She was there to support him through his emotional state the entire way through. He pushed her away at some points but she still remained by his side.
9 Dan Wrote A Scathing Tell-All Book With Serena As The Subject Matter... Chuck Would Never
Dan Humphrey wrote a tell-all book about Serena van der Woodsen and even though he changed her name, everyone knew he was talking about her. Chuck would never do something like that to Blair. If Chuck wrote a Tell-All book about Blair, he'd fill it with loving sentiments.
8 Chuck Swiped Blair's V-Card
Chuck ended swiping Blair's V-card... in the back of a limo! It was probably one of the wildest and craziest episodes in the entire series and it all went down in season 1. Their hook up led to some serious drama between Chuck and Nate but honestly, who cares? Nate had already lied about swiping his V-card with Serena.
7 Blair Talked Chuck Off The Ledge... Literally
When Chuck was under the influence and acting like a reckless fool on the edge of the roof, Blair is the one who talked him off the ledge. She said everything he needed to hear in order to safely come down and return to her arms. She always had his back, through every high and low he faced.
6 Serena Continually Let Dan Down While Blair Remained A Loyal Pillar In Chuck's Life
Serena let Dan down all the time, whether it was cheating, disappearing for days, lying about a man's overdose, etc... Blair, on the other hand, was never one to let Chuck down. Chuck might have disappointed her and broken her heart a few times but Blair was resilient and loyal to Chuck, always.
