Grimes took to Instagram to share her plan to cover her whole body in an “alien” tattoo with her 2.3m followers. The musician proudly showed off the start she had already made, baring her torso to reveal a futuristic design crafted in white ink that framed her chest and stomach.
Alongside the stunning snap Grimes wrote “The long slow effort to have a full alien body - gna be totally covered in white ink”.

She also posted a shot of herself with her talented tattoo artist, penning “I was so vibed into record promo I forgot to post abt this amazing tattoo I got from @w4th.co”.
This is not the first of Grimes’ “alien” tattoos. Last year she uploaded a photograph of a large “alien scars” inking. The artwork was composed of an array of delicate swirls covering her back and although they were red straight after conception, the hitmaker disclosed that once healed they would be white.
In the caption of the image Grimes had stated “Full back in white ink by @tweakt w sum help from the alien computer brain of @nusi_quero”.

As well as working on her alien aesthetic, Grimes is busy co-parenting with ex-boyfriend Elon Musk. The pair appear to still be friendly, with Musk stating at the time of their split “We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms.”
He also revealed that her and their son X Æ A-Xii were living with him, divulging “It's mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She's staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.”
Furthermore, the talented star has been working non-stop to finish and promote her sixth album ‘BOOK 1’. Speaking of the project she told fans “After my album [is] out, I have like a 35 track nightcore album I've been making since 2015 that I think [really] needs to come out.”
