"I mean, probably to the public," Arnold responded when asked if something was going on. "[It] seemed like it 'cause there was obvious chemistry."

Arnold was very complimentary towards Harry, saying, "We had so much fun together and I'm truly so grateful for the relationship I built and the friendship I built with him."

The dating rumors didn't stop after the show was over, either. Fans continued to speculate when Harry purchased a $15,000 gold-and-diamond Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet for Arnold. However, she insisted this was merely a symbol of their time together on the show.

Harry also spent Thanksgiving with Arnold and her family while they were on vacation.

When Harry spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of Griselda in January, he spoke highly of Rylee. However, he didn't put the rumors to rest regarding whether the two were romantically involved.

"Oh, Rylee's everything. She's such a sweetheart," Jowsey said. "She made me learn a lot about myself. Just how she carries and her maturity and her morals and everything like that."

Rylee shared Harry's sentiments and said she hopes to be friends with him for the rest of her life.

"I couldn't have asked for a better partner for my first season and I'm just so happy for his recent successes and everything he's doing with his life right now," Arnold said. "He's one of my best friends and he'll be one of my best friends for the rest of my life."

Prior to Arnold's clarification, Harry set the record straight himself during an episode of his podcast, Boyfriend Material.

As Harry told listeners that he never dated Arnold, he also revealed that he was actually in a secret relationship during his time on Dancing With the Stars.

"Now I know what you are thinking, ‘Harry are you and Rylee dating? Are we together? Am I leading her on? Are we hooking up?'" Jowsey began. "But what if I told you I was actually in a secret relationship at the start of Dancing With the Stars."

Harry admitted to listeners that he "was madly in love" with the girl he was dating at the time. While he didn't reveal the identity of the woman he was actually in a relationship with, a lot of fans believe it was Jess Vestal, a former cast member of Love Is Blind.

These rumors were strengthened when Harry and Jessica were spotted kissing in Mexico in June 2023.

According to Harry, the rumors surrounding him and Rylee drove a wedge between him and his real girlfriend.

"Obviously, it ended up ending and it fizzled out because it is so difficult to see your boyfriend or girlfriend on Dancing With the Stars being that close with someone else," Jowsey explained. "Day in and day out [seeing] the TikToks, the news articles… absolutely everything."

Harry said that he misses his ex before going into more detail about his friendship with Arnold.

He then denied the two ever "leaned into" the rumors or "were putting on an act" for the cameras.

"It was just organic," he said. "What you saw is kind of how it was. That was just amazing love and amazing friendship, and just an amazing bond that we had together."

Despite insisting that he didn't lean into dating rumors, Harry did say something interesting to Page Six in October 2023.

During the conversation, Jessica said that Harry's dynamic with Rylee was what led to the demise of their relationship, verifying what Harry previously stated.

According to Jessica, the "last straw" for her was Harry "making commitments to me that he was gonna kinda lighten the load" with teasing his chemistry with Rylee on social media.

"I was understanding of our relationship having to be a secret for a while, but I'm like, it's kind of excruciating watching the world think you're in love with someone else," Vestal said.

Jessica said her breakup with Harry was "very, very abrupt" as she spoke about visiting him in Los Angeles during the filming of Dancing With the Stars.

"I was just like, I can't do this anymore," she said. "Like, I'm not doing this. And we broke up the next day and didn't talk."

Jessica said that she and Harry broke up the morning he and Rylee were spotted holding hands at the Tate McRae concert.
