Harry Styles And Olivia Wilde Have Been Together Since At Least January 2021
It's safe to say that the world was surprised when Hollywood star Olivia Wilde and musician Harry Styles were spotted holding hands three months after her separation from actor Jason Sudeikis. Wilde and Styles have a nine-year age difference, and they met thanks to the movie Don't Worry Darling which Wilde was directing and Styles is starring in.
While some did initially believe that the relationship was a publicity stunt to get the movie in the spotlight, over a year and a half later the two seem to still be happily together. An insider for US Weekly revealed that the two initially kept their relationship secret.
"Olivia and Harry were able to keep their relationship under wraps for a bit before it became public knowledge," the source said in January 2021. "They were very careful about it and even sleuthy at times, although the small group of people who were on set with them every day eventually figured it out."
Do Harry Styles And Olivia Wilde Plan To Have Children Together?
As of writing, Olivia Wilde is 38 years old while Harry Styles is 28. Because of this many fans can't help but wonder whether the two plan on having any children together, as Wilde's biological clock is slowly running out. However, neither of the two has acknowledged their relationship much in the public (they tend to stay away from each other at industry events) which is why it isn't surprising that they never addressed the option of starting a family together.
Olivia Wilde already has two children with her ex, actor Jason Sudeikis. Their son Otis was born in 2014, and they welcomed their daughter Daisy Josephine in 2016. The couple officially parted ways in November 2020. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Wilde opened up about the rumors that she left Sudeikis for Styles.
"The complete horseshit idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight. Unfortunately, Jason and I had a very bumpy road, and we officially dissolved the relationship towards the beginning of the pandemic," she said.
"We were raising two kids during lockdown, so we co-parented through that time. Once it became clear that cohabitating was no longer beneficial for the children, it became the responsible thing to not, because we could be better parents as friends who live in different houses. But, yeah, I don’t understand the need to create false narratives and drama around this kind of stuff. It’s like, haven’t the kids been through enough?"
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Harry Styles opened up about how he would raise his children if he ended up having any. "Well, if I have kids at some point, I will encourage them to be themselves and be vulnerable and share," Styles said.
"The fantasy, or the vision, or the version of you that people can build you up to be, feels like a person that isn’t flawed. What I value the most from my friends is I feel like I’m constantly reminded that it’s OK to be flawed. I think I’m pretty messy and make mistakes sometimes. I think that’s the most loving thing: you can see someone’s imperfections, and it’s not [that you] love them in spite of that, but it’s [that you] love them with that."
A source for People revealed in December 2021 that Harry Styles is getting along with Oliva Wilde's children. "Harry is slowly getting to know her kids," the source revealed.
"Olivia is also spending time with Harry's mom." Whether the couple will last and end up having children of their own is something only time will tell. However, considering that Styles did mention having children and how he would raise them, it can be presumed that he is open to the idea of having kids with Wilde.
