The first season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City premiered in November 2020. The reality show, that airs on Bravo, documents the rich and luxurious lifestyles of Angie Harrington, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Jen Shah, Sara McArthur-Pierce, and Meredith Marks. In addition to us getting a glance into their multimillion mansions and expensive shopping spree's, viewers get a front row seat to all the drama between the seven women.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) is the tenth installment of the Real Housewives franchise. Each woman lives their best life in the city of Utah, as viewers get an inside look into their personal and professional lives. Six of the women are familiar to the fans of the franchise, however Jen Shah appeared for the first time on the show. The women spend a lot of time together, from hosting parties to going on vacation together. With the good times often comes the bad, though, and that's exactly what we see on RHOSLC, with the many fall-outs, rumors and tears.
Despite this, the seven women are ultimate friendship goals to many fans of the franchise. In season one, we were introduced to the women, and they have all since built friendships along the way; one of the most talked about friendships on the show is that of Jen Shah and Heather Gay. 8 The Calm Before The Storm
Being the newbie can be uncomfortable, and you can easily be seen as an outsider to the rest of the group. For Jen Shah things were not the easiest amongst the other ladies. In many instances, Jen found herself in the middle of an argument with the other women. Luckily for the housewife, Heather Gay was always there for her and stood up for Jen. This was the start of a great friendship.
7 Jen Shah and Heather Gay Were Inseparable
From the first day of filming, the two women's friendship became stronger and stronger. They became extremely close and were the most spoke about friendship duo on the show. Flash forward to 2021, Heather Gay continues to defend her friend. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he continuously asks the housewife why she keeps defending Jen. In multiple occasions during this episode, Heather Gay never threw Jen Shah under the bus.
6 Jen Shah's Outbursts With The Other Housewives
In season 1, there were many episodes where Jen Shah would have fall outs with the other ladies. Her beef with Mary become one of the main dramas within the show. Jen's favorite line "Shut the F wup" as nothing out of character. Despite this, Heather Gay remained friends with Jen.
5 Jen Shah's Drama With Heather Gay's Cousin, Whitney Rose
In Season 1, there are numerous fights between the ladies, however, the drama between Jen Shah and Whitney Rose, Heather's cousin, started to affect their friendship. The drama that went down at Jen's husband's birthday between Jen and Whitney played a role in the downfall of Heather Gay and Jen Shah's friendship, as Heather did not take Jen's side. As a result of the party drama, Heather and Jen had a heated conversation while shoe shopping. This is where Jen expected Heather to take her side. This becomes a big deal for Jen, and we see it throughout the show.
4 Jen Shah And Heather Gay Don't Trust Each Other
During an episode, Jen and Heather were asked a series of questions - one of which was about trust. When the ladies were asked if they trusted Jen, all of them raised their hands, including Heather. When the question was focused on Heather, Jen raised her hand.
3 Season 1's Reunion Fall Out Between Jen Shah And Heather Gay
It is evident that all the ladies of RHOSLC had their bad moments, in many cases, though, friends made up and things appeared to be okay. At other times, this was not the case. During the reunion, Jen Shah and Heather Gay really let their growing distaste for each other show for the cameras.
2 Jen Shah's Arrest Leaves Heather Gay Shocked
In March 2021, Jen Shah and her assistant were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit fraud. The cops came looking for her while they were filming. During an interview with Bravo TV, Heather Gay states that she was shocked when this all happened.
1 Jen Shah's Mean Tweets About Heather Gay
A few episodes into the new season, Heather and Jen have a heart-to-heart. Both ladies feel like something is off about their friendship, and Heather could not agree more. Heather is one of the fan favorites, and when she discovered that Jen tweeted mean comments about her on social media, not only was Heather upset but many took to Twitter to speak out about this. During their one of one, Heather confronts Jen about the tweets, and Jen denies it even though Heather showed her proof.
