Reality television notoriously turns seemingly nobodies into overnight sensations. A prime example of this phenomenon is that of Alana Thompson and company (Aka Honey Boo Boo and her family.) This quirky Georgia brood saw their hit TLC show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, shoot them into fame overnight, and then after experiencing success and fortune that they had never even come close to knowing before, they saw it all crash and burn.
Thanks to the poor choices of the matriarch, Mama June Shannon, the family of Honey Boo Boo fell from grace...hard. They lost their television show and then faced family trials and tribulations. All three of Honey Boo Boo's sisters are grown women, doing very grown-up things these days. Two of the sisters are now mothers, one has broken the family mold and gone on to higher learning, and two have decided to change up their look in a major way.
Anna Cardwell and Jessica Shannon recently went under the knife to give themselves a very updated appearance. The sisters took off for Los Angeles to have parts of their bodies altered. They also had veneers put on their teeth. After all, was said and done, the price tag for everything was somewhere in the ballpark of one hundred and twenty thousand dollars!
11 Lauryn Is A Married Woman
Lauryn, or Pumpkin, has become a wife! She headed to Las Vegas and wed her longtime love. She is the only sister who is currently wed. Anna Cardwell, Lauryn's older sister, was hitched to her second daughter's father for a time, but that marriage ended in divorce.
The ladies' mother was also wed to Alana Thompson's father, who was known as Sugar Bear, but they have split as well. Considering all that has befallen Lauryn and her family in recent years, it seems a good sign that the newlyweds continue to weather the storms, stay the course, and support one another.
10 Working At Walmart
The sisters were receiving pretty hefty paychecks back when they were working for TLC and starring on their hit television show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. When the show was canceled, everyone had to get out into the world and find new means of providing for themselves and for their families.
Anna Cardwell has two children to feed, so she wasted no time landing a job at the local Walmart. Anna has proudly displayed her workplace on her social media pages and seems very content at what she has chosen to do with her life following her reality television work.
9 Jessica Is A College Grad
Sister Jessica made family history when she became the first in the family to graduate from high school! While this was a major accomplishment that was certainly to be celebrated, Jessica didn't stop there.
She took her educational momentum and continued moving forward with her academic journey. Jessica attended South Georgia State University and is now living her best post-reality show life. We love that this independent woman is doing her own thing and following her dreams.
8 Anna Is Divorced And Dating Again
When we first met the eldest sister, Anna Cardwell, she was expecting her daughter Kaitlyn with her former boyfriend. The family welcomed the famous six-fingered darling into their clan, but Anna's relationship with her daughter's father fizzled fast. She went on to marry again and have another daughter named Kylee. They divorced, but Anna didn't give up on love.
She has been dating Eldridge Toney for some time and has said that he is a wonderful father figure for her young daughters. She and Toney are making plans for the future, and the future is looking pretty bright for Anna Cardwell.
7 Lauryn Is A Mommy

Anna Cardwell has two children, including one that appeared on the family reality show. Sister Lauryn has also recently joined Club Mommy. She and her husband, Joshua Efird, welcomed their first daughter into the world in 2017.
Little Ella Grace has been a welcomed addition to the large t.v. family. She is the third grandchild for Mama June Shannon, and thus far, all of the little kiddos that have been born to June's daughters have been girls. The female power runs strong in this fun Southern family.
5 Pumpkin Promotes Boom Bod
One way that Pumpkin has chosen to support her growing family is by becoming an influencer for a weight loss product. Lauryn, also known as Pumpkin, has been promoting Boom Bod.
Some fans came down on the young mother for pushing a product such as Boom Bod, but others have been nothing but supportive, saying that Lauryn is simply doing whatever she has to do to put a roof over her daughter and her younger sister's heads.
